Booker T out 4-6 Weeks

WWE.com confirmed Booker T's injury that occured at a Smackdown house show last night. Booker strained his groin muscle and it looks like it will take 4 to 6 weeks to heal. He'll probably be back sooner though. Booker T was scheduled to wrestle Chris Benoit in match number 5 at the Smackdown tapings tonight.

According to WWE trainer Barry Hatch, Booker T suffered a strained groin muscle during his match last night at a SmackDown live event in White Plains. “Normally, this type of injury takes 4 to 6 weeks to heal,” said Hatch. “But Booker is a wrestler, so he’ll probably be ready sooner.”


I take it that Chris Benoit will be awarded the US Title. Unless his contract is really expiring in 4 days, than we will see for sure after tonights taping.

Truth I got it. If Burke wants a new gimmick he's got one. Since Booker has started up a new wrestling school have Burke come in as Booker's top student to take his place while he heals up, he beats Beniot and holds the belt all the way until Booker returns, at this time they feud over the belt and who has rightful ownership of it.

Truth I got it. If Burke wants a new gimmick he's got one. Would be a neat idea.

Tonight we will see how this gets handled.

Good job but, we all can sit here and put together better storylines then the WWE and It still wont go anywhere.

although, I am applying for a job with the E when I finish my communications degree next May, they've got lots of job available on their coporate site so you never know where that will lead. I talked to a guy who's friend was a writer for WWE, he said while it was fun while it lasted there is so much turnover that they are hiring all the time, so I figure I'll throw my name out there for consideration and who knows where that will go.

I feel like I could write better storylines myself for WWE and TNA, but it is a shame that they continue to hire TV writers. Storylines have been going down the dumps. Not all, but the following are enough for me to pull my hair out.

Shelton Benjamin's Mama coming to RAW next week. Hasn't happened yet, but I still feel like it will suck.

Katie Vick -TripleH - Kane angle anyone?

Randy Orton drives Eddie's Low Rider into the Smackdown set just to further The Undertaker storyline.

Chavo Guerrero becomes Kerwin White. WTF was this?

Kurt Angle hates the US troops and blah blah blah. WWE should be using him as a "AMERICA'S OLYMPIC HERO" Fan Favorite. Push him like they did with Lex Luger back in the 90's except no Kurt Express Bus.

Just to name a few bad storylines.

yeah, that's the main hurdle for becoming a writer there... they want you to have 2 years of tv writing experience before you work there, but the guy that got the job had no experience what so ever writing for tv and they hired him so it's not an absolute must.
