Reading it now...and so far this is a great read. I never knew any of this about D'Amore. I always thought he was a yes-man who people liked from WCW. He seems to have alot of knowledge and I can honestly say "Anything bad I've said about Scott D'Amore I take back". Seriously, that's how good a read this was.

Yeah, I was shocked at some of the things he said. I hardly knew anything about him and after reading that I wish he could have a little more say. His wrestling knowledge seems to run deep. I also like the background info on Rhino, Christian, Petey Williams, Bobby Ruude and A1.

SCOTT: Well, I think you and DDP are the only two people that remember
that. Basically, DDP was doing a gimmick where he'd bring a fish bowl to
the ring and pull out names of big stars that were not in WCW and
challenge them to a match. Well after this was all said and done, he was
told that I was his opponent. He was supposed to jump in the ring and
beat me in seconds, but he came to me during the day and said he didn't
see the reason to do that. He said he was just going to walk out on me.
So at the end of his fish bowl promo he said that I wasn't nothing but
chump change and threw a handful of quarters at me and walked out,
getting DQ'd. Not only did I get the 'win', but I picked up an extra
$1.75 in quarters from it as well!

Make that three! I remember when DDP did this, he used to come out with 2 or 3 girls (one was usually Kimberly) whom he called "Diamond Dolls" (eventually there would only be one...Kimberly). It was usually on WCW's Sunday night show. My memory is pretty vague, but I remember this happening. I was a bit of a DDP mark during this time. That didn't last long, though.
