Supposedely, Byte This! is done. Goes to show you it won't be missed if no one seems to know how The Heart Throbs "crossed the line". Read this on pwinsider.com, by the way.

WWE.com controversy results in another release, Threatens shakeup
Submitted by Brian Cantor on Wednesday, February 15, 2006 at 1:47 PM EST

The fallout from last week's controversial WWE Byte This webcast has extended past The Heart Throbs, who were released by WWE, reports PWInsider.com.

The word going around last night's WWE SmackDown! taping, which reflects a week's worth of rumor and speculation, is that WWE is seriously considering removing the program from WWE.com.

Sources believe that the show will not be brought back in its live format—if it does remain on WWE.com in any form, it will be a taped show.

The WWE employee responsible for producing the segment last week was released along with The Heart Throbs, indicating the degree of seriousness attached to the issue.

              I'd like to know too

EDIT: well I pieced together the controversy. No details but at least it's better then nothing.

The Heart Throbs just appeared on WWE's Byte This program this past Wednesday night. The show was totally out of control with the guys in character doing a love game. Apparently creative really didn't have anything for them. The angle worked much better for the duo in OVW.
According to at least one report, one caller on the show referred to Booker T with a racial slur (similar to what Vince McMahon said to John Cena at the Survivor Series PPV back in November).
I went to WWE.com after the Grammys ended and they said check back later for the archive, mentioning that the Throbs had their own dating show on the program and they were the contestants as well. Don't miss what happened etc etc.

From what I gather the 'Throbs were a bit over the top with the sexual innuendo, and I guess one of them made a comment critical of the WWE's "big man" fetish...

Bring them in to TNA and make a STABLE with Kanyon's.

WWE doesn't know what to do with their tag division on RAW, Smackdown is heading in the right direction.

WWE needs to take a note from TNA on how to have a healthy tag division.
