Boys, it was a pleasure. I think I've had enough for one night with wrestling, I'll catch TNA tomorrow off of my DVR.

Saturday Night Crapfest!!!!!! I was going to purchase Wrestlemania, but seeing that tonight and knowing Bret Hart is going to help Michaels win, forget it. If Bret does this, he is more of a hypocrite than anyone he ever accused was.

It's definitely played out, but hopefully there's some sort of payoff at 'Mania.

Oh yeah. At one point after he was tagged in, there was a VERY audible "Cena sucks!" chant... it was beautiful.

Blah show, but it wasn't for us. It was for casual fans so they can buy WrestleMania. You heard how JR and Taz were describing guys. "Kurt Angle won the Gold Medal in 1996!" They were putting them over for the people who didn't know. What wrestling fan doesn't know Angle won his gold in '96? There were some other instances, but I had to have my brother hit me in the head a few times so I could stay awake.

The tag match was pretty good. Notice how it was just guys getting n their offense? Put them over for the masses. And Trips took alot of offense from Rey.

I liked the Mickie James turn. I'm not being sarcastic when I say that this has been the best angle on Raw lately. And I don't think that it's over. It'll only get better.

Haven't read through the thread, but two things I noticed during the show...
Undertaker's tan. Damn, the man's face was BURNT. And Carltio and Teddy Long talking to eachother when Booker and Sharmell ran out of their dressing room. What's up with that? Probably nothing, but it's fun to think that he was politicking for a spot in the last chance battle royal. That could lead to some more questions of trust between him and Masters. Just something that crossed my mind.

The Main Event was alright, though to be honest, I was really falling asleep. That super-plex from the ladder onto the tables was crazy. My friend called me up out of nowhere and started going crazy. BTW, he's the perfect example of who they were marketing this show to.

Add this with what I wrote a few pages ago and I think that we have summed up what SNME was about.

To me the show had some entertaining moments but in the end it wasn't as good as I hoped it would be. It just seemed like one big promo for Wrestlemania. I was hoping something big would go down or there would be a big swerve or turn by someone. I remember when the first Smackdown aired and the corporate ministry was formed, I was hoping something substantial would take place like this but it never happened. The suplex on the tables was incredible though, I'm talking holy $#%% man. I had to rewind the DVR about five times. They destroyed the tables, ouch. Overall it was disappointing and didn't really make me want to order WM.

To me, there were some very obvious results: Chaos in the interpromotional tag match, Trips leving... although I thought Cena would be dead after facing all three of the SD guys. They couldn't let Trish lose, and Mickie's turn was pretty obvious after the failed kiss, although she continues to be very ientertaining.

Cutting Edge was destined to be nasty, but I definitely thought Edge was going in the tacks. I kinda liked the con-chair-to, but they did it already and they hyped this one as payback... get the payback in the ring!

I was worried about JBL being able to wrestle at WM, but he looked good. Benoit coming out was pretty cool.

I gotta admit, the Booker T promos really made me laugh.

Decent show, but I agree with who said that it wasn't for us. I mean, I know Rey has a huge heart... why not just show a promo for him during his match? Who needs a match?

I was kinda surprised at how smoky the opening pyros left the building during the first match.

Bearly I swear i was a lil light headed till they opened the doors to let it out. Just incase you dont know but cobo arena is very small i dont know how many of u guys have been there but i would say there was maybe 9 to 11,000 people if you guys have ever been to a wrestling event sometimes they black curtain seats at the venue. well since cobo only has 3/4 of the areana with seats the other 1/4 is a white wall so all seats where avaiable ..if that makes sense

I just finally got done watching it...

It's sad to say, but Shane is one of the most entertaining performers in the E when he's actually involved. For the most part he's nothing more than a spot machine, but he can hold his own.

Main event was very good, definitely the high point of the show.

The tag match opening the show was an interesting choice. But, with the card they put out there, it was probably the best choice.

The tag match itself was good. I kinda liked the chaos myself. They continue to foreshadow a possible double-switch at Mania with H saving Cena, but Cena not tagging in for H. If they do pull off the double switch, I can't help but ask why they didn't just keep the belt on Edge? H supposedly had an influence in it because he wanted to be in the main event picture...but if they were gonna turn H face anyway, why not just turn him face a couple months earlier and give us H v. Edge? Would have been much better, imo.

I was a little disappointed with how they did Mickie's turn. I dunno why, but it's actually been a nice angle and I expected more. Maybe it's because they're only been building it up for about eight years now.

Beer drinking contest was entertaining. Austin's always a good character to have around, and JBL was entertaining.

Henry/Taker I could do without...although unlike most here I really don't mind the Taker that much. The gimmick is stale, but he holds his own in the ring.

Booker T faking his injury is really getting stale with me. I've seen it enough, move on.

Watching this show made me realize how much better the show would be if they'd just combine the brands again. There was star power from beginning to end...and despite the lack of actual wrestling, it was an entertaining show for the most part.
