I kinda think this is good for TNA for several reasons....1. They don't have a two program its only an Hour and going head to head with the likes of smallville and the OC. They will not draw as good as they are not but, now being moved to thursdays but after the ultimate fighter is good because UFC fans will tune into watch TNA after the UFC. So works for me now i won't miss Smallville (oh I don't have Tivo So no I couldn't Tivo it)

Its really only a ****ty timeslot f0r the east coast. Though I'd be willing to bet the east coast makes up a much bigger chunk of their fanbase than any of the other timezones. Still if I didnt work nights 10 PM CST on Thursdays would be a pretty sweet timeslot since it wouldnt mess with my watching Survivor, Earl, or The Office.

On the West Coast and the people who get the tape delay. It's a perfect timeslot, because it will not go Head to Head with Smallville, Supernatural or The O.C.

This blows,There is 0 good about switching to Thursday night at 11pm ...Nothing around that

but Saturday night at 11 Et isnt that great either so i dont see it helping at all but maybe not hurting to much

So, it'll air at 9 on the West Coast, 10 in the mid west...that's not so bad then. But it still sucks for us east coasters.

As reported yesterday, SpikeTV has decided to move TNA Impact to Thursdays at 11PM ET, not 9PM ET, starting 4/13. TNA initially reacted to the news negatively since they had their hearts set on a "prime time" slot. However, those in the know at TNA and SpikeTV feel that the show has a better chance of success in the short term and long term with the 11PM ET timeslot.

Spike made the decision largely because "CSI," set to be Impact's lead in initially, does not have a similar demographic as Impact and would thus force Impact to draw in its entire audience without any sort of lead in. UFC's demographic is almost identical to TNA's demographic and will provide Impact with a strong lead in in addition to the audience TNA brings in. Spike views TNA as a young show which does not have a defined audience and thus feels more comfortable giving the show a good lead in. Spike's new show, "Pros vs. Joes," drew a 1.3 rating (higher than any episode of Impact) for its debut episode largely due to the lead in it got from a UFC show. "The Ultimate Fighter" will air before Impact at 10PM ET and is expected to draw a rating between 1.5 and 2.0.

The other silver lining for TNA is that "The Ultimate Fighter" is a reality show that will air for 12 weeks. If Impact performs well at 11PM ET, Spike could move the show up to 10PM ET once "The Ultimate Fighter" ends and even give TNA the second hour they need and have the show run from 10PM ET to midnightET.

Ah, a challenge to the TNA brass. I think that they will take this the right way and get some really good storylines going. a 10-12 AM slot on thursdays would be much better then the current timeslot.

10-12 will undoubtley be better than 11-12. Not only for the two hours, but (for me anyway) they could keep me up. Since I'm watching at 10, chances are I'll stay up and finish what I'm watching. Hopefully, it happens.

Not for nothing, TNA has made it this far. If they have their game faces on, which they do, they can get past this unexpected curve.

I enjoy the TNA product so so much. I was really disappointed to read the news about the time change. I will still watch iMPACT and get TNA PPV's none the less because I enjoy their product.

Same here, I have every PPV since Raven debuted way back in the weeklys and not about to stop now. TNA is AWESOME!!!!!!

The replay is going to be on Saturdays at 11, so they aren't losing that time slot. Actually, I bet the replay does better than the Thursday night slot.
