Rene Dupree and The Bashams were recently offered new deals from WWE. There is no word yet if they have signed them though. This should be refreshing news for these individuals because there were rumors that WWE were looking to cut several wrestlers this month. Also, it didn't help matters that WWE are currently looking to bring in a parade of big, imposing veteran wrestlers and well, Dupree & The Bashams have been kept off television for several months.

Dupree has been out the past several months due to an injured hernia. He's wrestled on a few OVW shows though. Doug Basham has wrestled sparingly on some Smackdown house shows the past few months, but has yet to be brought back to TV for some unknown reason. He's been off television since September. Danny Basham was traded to the Raw brand last June. Although, he didn't make an appearance on television until September. He wrestled a jobber on an episode of Sunday Night Heat in some sort of goth gimmick. That was his one and only TV appearance on the Raw brand and he hasn't been seen on television since. Danny has wrestled on a few Raw brand house shows since then, however, he's been kept off the road for the most part for some unknown reason.

Wow, three guys who were supposed to be gone. In fact, I thought the fake Basham was already gone.

I like the Bashams, though. Maybe SmackDown will be the home of Tag Team Wrestling?

I actually like Renee Dupree's french phenom gimmick. It is very funny to me.

Renee Dupree is awesome. There was a house show here about a year and a half ago and he was the only wrestler to come out in the pouring rain and sign autographs in the parking lot.

Dupree should still have been wrestling with Sylvan as La Resistance. They were a good dominant tag team.

Bring in Chuck Palumbo and Mark Jindrak, put them together. Put The Bashmans together and reform La Resistance...take all of them place them on Smackdown. Then Take Vito and Nunzio to form the FBI tag team...then your looking at a decent Tag Team roster over on Smackdown to give MNM a legit contender and not to mention that they also have The Shane Twins there as well.

Dupree should still have been wrestling with Sylvan as La Resistance. They were a good dominant tag team.

But like most dominate tag teams with two different personalities WWE usually thinks they can break apart and atleast one of the two will become a solid singles guy.

Long running tag team are almost always comprised of two guys who need the other guy to carry a match.

Dupree will be a solid mid carder when he comes back and in due time he'll be a top tier guy, plus he's really young.

I take it that Dupree has healed? He had a hernia or something, it was supposed to be carrer ending. Good to hear he's healthy. They seemed to have something for him before he got hurt again with the whole scouting Tomko thing.
