TNA Wrestler Quits, Raven Return Update

Lex Lovett gave his notice to TNA last week. Lovett, who was being used in TNA as an enhancement talent, reportedly became upset about not getting word from the company if he was going to be used on a regular basis or not in order to get time off from his full-time job. Lovett was never under contract with TNA and made most of his appearances on the syndicated "Xplosion" program working in a cheerleader gimmick with his wife.

Raven is expected to return to TNA this month and continue his feud with Larry Zbyszko. Raven last appeared for TNA at the Final Resolution PPV back in January where he lost a match against Sean Waltman with a stipulation that he must leave TNA. It remains to be seen storyline wise how they bring him back in, but the feeling is that it will lead to a match with Zbyszko at the Lockdown PPV with either a "blindfold" or "hair vs. hair" stipulation. Zbyszko needs to get his head shaved anyways due to him getting hair restoration surgery.

I'm not worried about Lovett, but the Raven storyline could be good.

I honestly don't know what to think about Raven. I don't really remember him or his gimmick all that well, although I will read Wiki for some info right now.

When I watched WCW, I watched for Sting.

Lex Lovett now needs to stay the heck out of TNA if all he is going to do is quit. I believe this is the 2nd time he has quit on the company for not being used. If he wasn't quiting it was Buck Quartermine(sp?).

Yeah, it was Lex Lovett who quit before. When I read this, I was like "huh?". Who cares really. candyman got me all gassed like someone important quit.

On the topic of Raven, instead of "Hair vs. Hair", how about "Hair vs. Job". Larry Z is vain about his apperance, and Raven wants his job back. That woould be more compelling, IMO. I'm not gonna flip out about it though.

Just as long as they don't have another blindfold match at Lockdown. The last one wasn't so good espically compared to the rest of the show.

Hopefully Raven lost some weight with his time off, he was looking a little rough at Final Resolution.

I hope he lost the weight too, but if I remember correctly he did a interview a few weeks back about his return and other things where they mentioned something like he was pushing 300 pounds. Now I am not sure if he checked in at that weight for the interview or that was his weight while he left TNA for the time being to get himself back together.

You are aware that with his thyroid problem he was suffering from made it nearly impossible to drop weight and is why he ballooned up right? and he was at 275 for the match against Waltman.

yup and thats why i answered the guys question up top. Also why hes checked in at 300 pounds in the last interview. I am not sure if the Thyroid meds are helping him to get his weight under control. I am worried for him when he comes back.
