By the way, and this is directed to MagicBucSoxfan, I saw earlier on in the thread you thought RAW was incredibly stale recently. I'm just curious as to why. I thought that they were better than they've been in a long time recently.

I dunno, it just feels like I tune in every week pretty much generally knowing what will happen. I dont know why benjamin is becoming a jobber, why RVD cant lose, why the spirit squad is unstopable. Im glad as hell Kane is finally turning heel after months of him being a harmless face, but having him fued with show is boring. Plus it doesnt help that they only have 3 WWE title main eventers (cena, hhh and edge) its been these three in the world title picture since new years revolution in january and its gorwing tiresome on me.

Jan - cena-edge
Feb - cena edge
march -edge cena, then hhh-cena
april - hhh-cena
may - edge/hhh - cena

we need some new people in the world title picture. Why not push Kane in the title picture? why not push HBK? bring over JBL, Batista or something.

I guess more than anything im just getting bored with the continuous world title picture of cena-edge and HHH.

The DX reunion will be good if they go through with it, but not if they are some unstopable force who goes up against "the spirit squad" as their rivals.

The second hour of Raw was great. The Joey Styles angle was HIL-FREAKIN-LARIOUS. From King trying to be nice to his old nemesis, to Joey's "shoot", it was great. I haven't read through the thread, so I'll gush a little. hehe...I loved it, thought it was great. G-R-E-A-T, GREAT!!! The thing that made it even better was the subtle build throughout the night. Edge with his "OH MY GOD JOEY. YOU SUCK!" was classic. I knew something would happen as the show went on, this was the perfect way to start the "ECW" build.

The rest of the show ranged from great to good. Excpet for the fact that I feel bad for Rob Conway. Come to think about it, put him in the new "ECW". Since he's a "con man" have him con his way into having Heyman think he's hardcore. Something, he's too good to be the designated Raw jobber. His wedgy had me laughing.

The Spirit Squad is here to stay, folks. Wow, the members are already getting World Title shots.

One thing I found unsettleing was the Carlito/RVD alliance. Not cool, for obvious reasons.

I saw the final 15 minutes of RAW last night and I was loving all of it. I taped RAW so i will watch it Wednesday Night and Throw my Opinions out about the show.


Also Im not sure if im tired of Edge, Cena and Triple H as the Big 3. I actually like watchin them 3 and they are the Main 3 right now in my opinion. I Kinda wish now Kurt Angle would of never been took off RAW tho ..he could be a great 4th addition

I dunno, I think the World Title picture has stayed fresh throughout. Sure, it's involved the same people over the last five months, but over those five months all three have had their characters evolve to the point where it doesn't really get old. Edge has taken the Rated R Superstar gimmick and ran with it. H is turning from the Cerebral Assassin back to the DX H. And Cena has gone from being pushed down our throats as a face to becoming more of a tweener and accepting that he isn't loved by all. By repackaging the gimmicks, I think it's kept the fued fresh.

That said, I think H's time in the World Title picture maybe on hold for now. After last night, it seems like they'll be going with the old DX v. Corperation storyline lol.

Last night's Raw was very inconsistant. At times it was brilliant, at other points it was horrible.

I give the E credit though, the way they dropped hints about ECW throughout the night to lead up to the Styles breakdown was great. And Styles showed how great he really can be on the mic when he isn't restricted like he has been on Raw. His promo was amazing.

I loved seeing the DX HBK too. It was too funny. It kind of bothers me that the E is just assuming we'll forget about the old "spiritual" HBK, but I guess that's part of wrestling, we all have to pretend to have ADD to get it lol.

I think I was the only one who found the H-HBK staredown to be a bit awkward. I would have liked it more if H would have went back in to take out the Spirit Squad when they were going five-on-one on Cena, and then when the numbers became too much for Cena and H, have HBK come out and save the day. But the E loves to drag everything out, so I guess I'll just have to be patient.

I was losing interest in the WWE again, but the DX and ECW stuff really has me drawn in again. It seems a little weird them trying to do both at once, I wish they would have brought back DX last month, and then started the ECW stuff this month, just to spread it out, but nonetheless it's good stuff. Too bad the rest of the storylines aren't so good right now.

Oh, and why the hell did we keep getting random cut-ins of Vince and Candice? I saw no point in it whatsoever, as it didn't lead to anything. I'm pretty sure that could have at least been saved for after/before matches, instead of during. Kind of bothered me.

Oh well, still one of the most entertaining Raws I've seen in awhile.

I know what you mean, but sometimes it gets too obvious. Like if ECW comes back in an "invasion" type angle, I want to see them fight Raw's best, not the stupid spirit squad, a heldback benjmain and big show.

Same goes for DX who do they fued with? if its the mcmahon's that could be interesting, but against the spirit squad that would just be boring.

If I had my way, id love to see dx come back, be unstopable for like a month and then have one of them go for the title and LOSE to Cena. No one would expect Cena to overcome those odds.It would piss off so many people. Id love it.

At backlash I knew Cena would win, but WM i was shocked as hell. I thought 100% HHH would win the belt and I was so surprised and satisfied because of it that Cena won. I hate when its too predictable when the title is going to change hands, which makes it that much better when it doesnt (when its expected too)

I didn't care for Raw except the ECW hints and the last 30 mins. Styles promo, best promo in wrestling in years. I agree with Candyman, the taking off of the WWE logo was a classic way to end the promo. The ECW hints started with Edge and then to the Spirit Squad (who are excellent by the way, I hated them in the beginning) and finally with Lawler. Next week, there should be an ECW sighting, or there better be, I don't want this to die now. Vince, you had the whole crowd chanting ECW, that's a big sign of what people want, I know it's coming anyway, but don't sleep on this perfect opportunity to let it all roll out.

I agree. They are really, really talented guys. Extremely athletic and a ton of charisma. Their gimmick is horrible, but they're making the best of it.

Guys like Matt Morgan should take note.

Nobody cared about "Dean" Douglas, but Striker seems to be getting some heat. Wonder why? Look at Helms as the Hurricane. Burchill seemed to be on a roll last month.

If the worker is talented, the gimmick will get over. There are NO exceptions to this rule.

Man, it would be so great if they were the Mean Street Posse. When it comes to the McMahons' goons, it gets no better than those guys.
