I still remember when he debuted around 1989. Dino Bravo pulled him out of the crowd for a push-up contest with the Ultimate Warrior. Earthquake sat on Dino's back and Dino did push-ups. Then when he sat on Warrior he splashed him.

That is sad to hear, and my condolences go out to his family. He was never one of my favorites to watch, but was entertaining in certain feuds especially with Hogan.

Weird thing is that yesterday, I was thinking to myself that we haven't had a wrestling related death in a long time since Eddie G. I'm like when is the next one due, and here we go. He was only 42.

I always liked 'Quake, even when he came back as a face in '94. There was just something about him that seemed so normal. And hey, he has the second quickest vistory at a WrestleMania.

RIP John Tenta, cancer is a horrible thing. Lost my Uncle to it last year, and a guy at work is battling cancer right now.

Sad, sad news.

On my flight back to Fresno from Dallas in 1998, he (Along with Edge) was on the flight because they had a pay-per-view (Fully Loaded, Sable's boobs) in Fresno the next day.

Tenta was sitting behind me and I noticed so I asked him kindly to autograph my plane ticket. He handed me his drink to hold and signed my ticket. From what I remember, he was really, really nice. Unfortunately, I don't know what happened to the ticket. It probably got lost in the move down to LA.

LMAO! Thats a cute story (it's touching) yes I can say "cute" and "its touching", as I have a 12 and 7 year old hehe.


But as for Earthquake, I remember him well (I'm 35) he would team up with Avalanche and form the Natural Disasters!!

Actually his tag team partner was Typhoon aka Tugboat!

The Natural Disasters use to be my favorite tag team when I use to watch wrestling.

Earthquake will forever be my co-favorite wrestler to use in the Arcade classic, Wrestlefest. I always picked Earthquake and The Million Dollar Man as my tag team.

RIP John Tenta. My thoughts are with his family and friends.
