On the May 15 edition of RAW, Shelton Benjamin pinned Rob Van Dam in the first-ever 3-on-2 Handicap Texas Tornado Championship Match to regain the Intercontinental Championship.

At WrestleMania 22, Mickie James dropped Trish Stratus with the Mick Kick to claim the Women's Championship, ending Trish's 15 month reign as champion.

Thanks to a little help from the rest of the Spirit Squad, Kenny & Mikey pulled off a huge upset on RAW the night after WrestleMania 22 by defeating Big Show & Kane for the World Tag Team Championship. However, thanks to an executive decision, any two of the five members of the Spirit Squad (Kenny, Mikey, Johnny, Nicky and Mitch) can defend the championship at any time.
