"Paul's being Paul. I knew Paul when he first came to Tennessee years and years ago. He literally idolized Eddie Gilbert, Tommy Rich, Austin Idol, Jerry Lawler and he's carried that with him since the day he left Tennessee. Paul is a guy that just needs to worry about Paul. He's got a lot on his hands right. Vince McMahon is running ECW. He's gonna run the show up there. Re-quote the first part of the quote because Paul needs to really worry about Paul because I don't think Paul has a clue what he's talking about when he talks about TNA...[after the quote is re-read]...It's not a consideration to anyone in this industry? Go ask Rhino that. Is Rhino not in the industry? And if we're not a consideration, it sort of boggles my mind that every opportunity WWE gets to file off any kind of legal letter, they do. It's truly a David vs. Goliath story. That's their prerogative. That's how Vince McMahon does business and he has all of his guys that work for him with that mentality. Vince is very successful. He's going to make ECW successful in spite of Paul."

Jeff Jarrett Blasts Paul Heyman & ECW On Radio Show
Between The Ropes Radio in Florida had Jeff Jarrett on the show yesterday, and as expected, Paul Heyman's comments about TNA in the Miami Herald came up in the conversation. Heyman had said TNA was not even a consideration to anyone in the wrestling industry and the company has failed to brand itself as anything but scorned WWE castoffs. Jarrett shot back with:

I agree but doesn't that still make TNA feel like crap when the realize such a train wreck out scored them by nearly 2 full points?http://flotn.blogspot.com

Originally posted by jt45No, because a majority of the people that tuned into ECW only did so b/c of the carry over in WWE storylines. I'm sure TNA would get huge ratings if their storylines crossed over on RAW also.Comment

Re: Jeff Jarrett Blasts Paul Heyman & ECW On Radio Show
But if you combine the TNA replay, it equals to a 1.5-2.0 rating. If ECW had a replay, it would probably combine to be a 3.0-3.5. Well, maybe not this weeks, but anyways, not all people have the opportunity to watch the same night. It'd be nice to have replays of Raw/Smackdown/and ECW also.Highheat's O's Franchise

No because the first shows ratings are meaningless. If the show continues to be crap and continues to beat TNA in the ratings then they should feel like ****.Comment

Re: Jeff Jarrett Blasts Paul Heyman & ECW On Radio Show
TNA and Jarrett should feel like crap because they're going to go out of business in the next year. Don't take this as me trolling or starting something, becuse when you're only fans are on the internet you are in trouble. Add that to the fact that there seems to be no constant booking philosophy...yeah, they're in trouble.
I don't care who thought the first episode of "ECW" was crap, next week they'll still get around a 2.0 and TNA will be talking up the fact that they're growing from a 1.16 to a 1.17.xbl gamertag: jiggidyjames72Comment
