    Another belt?

Anybody think it would help TNA to start a tournament for another belt? A TV title or a USA title would do well for TNA, IMO, to hype another superstar. They could use Jerry Lynn (What is he up to? hes a fantastic wrestler, he proved that with matches with RVD...though dry on personality), Raven, or Chris Sabin as the champ.

I have also never understood this X division. I kind of wish they would do away with it and make guys like Samoa Joe a true champion.

I am extremely new to TNA and have only watched bits and pieces but Im intrigued and discouraged with ECW/WWE and am looking to give TNA a shot, so maybe I am too harsh on the need for a belt or the X division.

Im sure the fact that they only have 1 hour of TV time has an effect on the belt situation.

It has been mentioned countless of times in the pass year and half but, they just don't have the time to introduce a new belt with the current time frame they have.

Jerry Lynn made a return back to the ring and faced off against X-Pac and then durning a house show some where he injured his shoulder again and I believe it was done by someone else...i can't recall. So hes in the back helping the young guys and just being an agent.

Raven is done and needs to bow out of wrestling...his thyroid problem is a big problem now since he has now blown up to 300 pounds

Sabin as a champ ( I guess you mean X Division Champ) hes been there but, I just don't like him as a champ.

X-Division: Is a basically your crusierweight division but, with no weight limits. If you can fly or wrestle like Crusierweights/Lucha Libre...then you can wrestle in the X Division.

hope that helps...if you want to know anything else...myself or Candy can fill you in also.

Samoa Joe is a real ****ING CHAMP! It boggles my mind why people would rather seem him against mediocre heavyweights like Steiner, Sting, Jarrett, Rhino, or Christian rather than X-division guys who are actually capable of going toe to toe with Joe for 20-25 minutes.

Personally I'd rather see them do away with the heavyweight title and most of the wrestlers in that division and use mostly X-division guys. Though they'd have to change the style slightly. A little more pacing and storytelling.

Yes, it's time for a mid card title in TNA.

I agree with you. Joe will put on better matches with alot of guys from the X-Division. But that's the problem - alot of those guys should be out of the X-Divison as well. Joe isn't the only one who needs a push out of what has become a dead end division.

The X-Division title should be a mid-card title, a stepping stone. If TNA was really serious about being an alternative, their main event guys would be flying around, too.

What would be so horrible about doing away with the X division totally and moving the better X division guys up the ladder in TNA?

            Then starting a TV title.

              Re: Another belt?

Because the X-Division is TNA's signature. More people would rather watch the X-Division than any other part of the show. If suddenly the X-division is gone, people may not tune in when they see Samoa Joe Vs A heavyweight, or Daniels, or Styles or any of that vs one of the heavyweights, although Styles has had some good matches against them.

Just, wouldn't be a smart move when the X-division is their title.
