In his latest site commentary, Lance Storm makes it clear that he's happy he turned down WWE's offer of working in ECW and the sad state of affair on RAW where there seems to be little wrestling these days. Below is a snippet on what Storm has to say on ECWL

"What can I say about ECW, other than I’m really glad I turned down the contract they offered me. I considered it very seriously when Dreamer contacted me early this year. I loved my old ECW days and working with Tommy and Paul again had a lot of appeal. In hindsight though this isn’t ECW one more time, it’s WWECW a completely new entity and more than anything else just a third WWE brand. This isn’t to say it will be a bad brand just not ECW like it once was. For those of you out there who like the new product I propose you start the chant We-C-Dub so as not to destroy the legacy of the original E-C-DUB, because this really has little to do with the Original product."

Don't disagree with what Storm is saying... as for all the post replying to this news this is what I think we will see...

Oh no the sky is falling... ECW sucks blah blah blah... Thank goodness for TNA... Vince has no clue how to do wrestling... After reading this I swear I'll never watch ECW again (btw when is the show tonight)... Why are they ruining ECW like this... Man I could book crap better than this....
Paul Heyman should have complete control...Paul sold out...Paul is getting screwed, he should've went to TNA...That's why the ratings go down every week...

Aww dang, Well I'll watch tonight so no biggie for me...I watch Raw and ECW ..and PPV's and thatz it..No Smackdown or Impact for me so I have to watch this So Terrible show

Lance is right. But people shouldn't be chanting ECW at ANY show. I would see it at indy shows on the East Coast all the time. Some ticket seller gets put through a table for no reason and a bunch of idiots chant "ECW ECW ECW!!!" It's calmed down the last 2 years, but I found it so stupid when people did that.

And Superstar, you forgot a few...

I'll give it to you, your one of the most excited guy on the net about this version of ECW and hasn't given up on it yet. I will continue to watch because it's wrestling, but I'm not too happy with a few things but what are we going to do. It is what it is.

Hey SS, thanks for the props. I'm pretty much done posting anymore in the wrestling forum on here, you guys are too immature and find it necessary to criticize someone that wants to see the product get better. Lately, I've found Hell's Kitchen much more entertaining on Mondays and well, the All-Star game is tonight. I'll be hoping wrestling as a whole will get better down the road, and every now and then, I'll come on here if I need a good laugh. Hopefully we'll get along in the NCAA forums come next week. I'll look forward to it, I'm sure. Thanks for taking the time for the slandering though, and to let me know I get under your skin.
