ECW Improvements List

This won't do anything, I am sure of that, since Vince McMahon has a clear idea path for how ECW should run. But here goes:

-all matches Extreme Rules matches
-try to squeeze out an extra half hour to an hour for SCI FI to get more matches in
-coupled with above this would allow for a TV/Tag team titles
-no more Kelly dancing (its a waste of time)
-pushing CM Punk as a title contender (obv.) or as the TV champ
-buy the rights of Enter Sandman for the Sandman
-have Big Show drop the ECW title within a month to RVD and start a RVD feud with a former ECW star (preferably Justin Incredible...but vince has something against him)
-continue to push this test-dreamer feud (but hopefully have test get extreme, as in the ability to have a bloodbath with dreamer)
-no more main events with WWE superstars after a month (I am giving them time to push new ECW guys, get them known,etc.)
-quit discussing the nature of an extreme rules match in tazz and joey styles commentary if they don't adhere to my wish of all matches extreme rules

I have had more but I am at work and also have forgotten a few of my better ideas..will post later.

I agree with everything you said. Kelly shound "never" have her expose' again.

-Also it's time to start separating the Heels from the faces. Justin Credible was a heel. Not a jobber.
-Dump the "Show" put him on SD. Who is he going to lose to? He's boring anyway. I'll rather have Val Venis the him. "hardcore porn star"
-Have at least 3 tag teams. FBI...Justin Credible and Stevie Richards......And Al Snow and Balls Mahoney. Since they all were ECW..their matches wouldn't look all out of place.
-Make Francine and Jazz manage.
-Have backstage fights.

can't think of anymore right now.


Man I can't wait for RVD vs. CM Punk.

I think the best way to improve "ECW" would be to kill everyone on the internet, so they won't complain.

J/P. They need to showcase the dev. guys and smaller guys...basically guys who might not get over on Raw or SD. The Knox/Kelly segment was a good example. I don't like Knox all that much, but that's what they need to do: take those guys and put them in programs that are the vocal point of the show.

Basically what I'm saying is this: "ECW" needs to be Vince's version of the indies. OVW with a budget and national TV deal. Raid TNA and take all the top indy workers. Put them in WWE style storylines...BOOM...we have "ECW". Those were my original hopes, anyway.

Most importantly, they need some time.

And look at the size of his hands. They are like catcher's mitts. You really have to see the Big Show in person. He is EXTREMELY entertaining.

I never saw the past ECW, so keep that in mind...but is it just me, or does Sandman just seem kinda boring after a while. I mean his gimmick is cool a few times, but I get bored with "comes out, drinks beer, slams can on forehead, brawl in match for a while, hit white russian legsweep with cane, drink more beer". Maybe it's because the matches he's in (like some WWE big men ones) just kinda blend together to me.

You know this would be quicker if you just point out what they do right

- Good TV Ratings for an hour show

- Big Show to me honestly has been a lot more entertaining on ECW

- Best Main Events on Cable TV

- Kelly is so Freakin Beautiful itz not even funny

- Dreamer and Test are having a good lil Rivalry Built up

- Sabu has had about 3 good matches now out of the what 5 shows

- Even tho I agree im not down with them bringing guys from Smackdown and Raw over...Itz good for the Show b/c itz brings fan over to watch, So in a way thatz a good thing.

well the show is only an hour long and there have been only so many shows so itz still hard to have to many good things, But as of now i'd say the show is doing just fine.

Did you guys know that Big Show is OVER 500 POUNDS!!!!!!

I think the main thing that ECW should do is make ALL matches extreme rules - hence the EXTREME championship wrestling, no? Seeing Sabu get DQ'd in an ECW match a couple weeks ago for using a table just isnt right.

I think that you have a good list going here.

I hope that WWE can get Sci-Fi to give them a 2 hr show, that would help them in a big way. Since the roster is expanding, they need more TV time.

There's too many to type out, but it should get started with the following:


- all matches Extreme Rules
- take the earbuds away from Styles and Taz and let them broadcast, damnit!
- let Sandman actually work a decent match
- I would say get Enter Sandman back, but apparently the price is ludicrous. Here's an idea - PLAY THE MOTORHEAD COVER!!!! duh????? What is wrong with these people
- Get rid of Knox and Test - neither are ECW material. Keep Kelly, but tone down the number of strip-teases.
- Keep Heyman off camera completely, and create and ECW "commissioner" - Tod Gordon
- don't have the broadcast table on camera
- bring back an original ECW ring announcer
- bring back the ECW refs
- film the shows TNA style in front of ECW fans - 2-4 shows per taping. Knowing what happened ahead of time didn't hurt the old ECW . . .it actually forced more people to tune into the Spanish channel or the Christian Network at 2 am in the morning!
- 3-way and 4-way dances occassionally, please
- bring back tag teams
- as one of those tag teams, pair up Sabu and RVD (aka - provider of 90% of the Hardy Boyz moveset).
- Keep the belt on Big Show forever, and demand that he work stiff, hardcore matches week in and week out.
- pair a manager with Big Show, to prevent him from getting over as a face after his run of good matches
- Bill Alphonso must return!!!!
- play up weed angle with RVD and Sabu!
- bring back The Shah of ECW . . . PLEASE!! I'm begging you for this one.
- the Zombie should make occassional appearances, cut promos, and be the ONLY (yes, I said the ONLY) jobber on the show, never using one move of offense the entire time; keep the man dusty, too, please.
- expand to 2 hours . . . this is probably the only one on the list that will happen one day . .. it's inevitable with the amazing ratings thus far.
- bring back the "Pulp Fiction" promo packages - it gets a lot of guys over, and is highly entertaining.
