Tell me about it, this is almosst worst than when Wu-tang came out with that fightin game. Its just another way to exploit Hip Hop in its highest peak.

Nah, I would say the worst excuse for a game would have to be Shaq-Fu. Worst game ever.

Im not into hip-hop, but this one has peaked my interest. As long as it doesnt have the annoying NBA Street commentator I will give this one a shot and check it out.

Actually when that Wu-Tang game came out Activision wanted to have a way to come out with Thrill Kill because I think it was deemed to violent or something like that and they just used the engine in Wu-Tang. Yeah they may have played off of Wu-Tang's popularity but in the end they both got something out of it. I think Def Jam Vendetta is going to be a quality game cause believe it or not these rappers live for reputationa nd they are not going to let their names be plastered all over crap.

This game is going to be the bomb!! Even if you are not a hip hop fan, you can still appreciate a new type of wrestling game.

Played the demo last night, and I was not disappointed with the way it moved. Still has a ways to go to be perfect and I dont think it will hold my interest (someone needs to better the current Smackdown experience) but for being a different aprroach to an old style EA should have fairly strong sales.

So far what music I heard in the game it isnt going to detract any even from my perspective of being not a fan of rap/hip hop.

Id say this will be a definate rental and possibly a really high potential offline multiplayer.

The game will be good, if not just for the lack of competition. Wrestling games have sucked since they left the N64. Smackdown series being the lone exception....anything that goes back to old school grappling like No Mercy on the 64 should sell very well.
