Sting: Return Of An Icon DVD coming soon (10/10/06)

It'll be available at Wal-Mart for $14.48. I'll be picking it up just for the interviews, and behind the scene stuff with The Stinger.

I just got back from Walmart and even though this comes out next week, they had it on the shelves and I picked it up. Can't wait to watch this tonight.

I'll look for it at my Wal-Mart later. Looks like a good DVD.

I've seen all the matches listed, but I want it for the documentary. He talks about WCW, TNA, his alcohol and drug problems, etc.

I may pick it up...I really hope that One day he lets WWE make a Dvd of him so I can get a Disc with all his great matches from WCW.

I plan on here soon picking up Hogan, Pillman, WWE champs and this dvd.

Correct me if I'm wrong, but I don't think WWE needs his permission if they ever decide to do a Sting DVD. They own the WCW library, which gives them the right to use it however they see fit.

Of course, such a DVD would be much more entertaining if it included interviews from Sting, but it isn't manditory. There's enough guys within the WWE ranks who have worked with him to make it work.

I just don't see it happening while Sting is in TNA. WWE isn't in the business of promoting wrestlers from a rival company.

Ultimate Warrior DVD is a good example.

Well, after he retires, it doesn't mean he can't come to WWE as some kind of road agent or perhaps even a writer.

Yea well in Reality if there was not a good hour to hour 1/2 of him talking about his life and such as a wrestler like the Bret Hart Dvd I'm not sure I'd be very interested in it.

                        Or a Chaplin.

I'm kidding. This DVD sounds interesting. Call me a gossip monger if you wish, but I really want to hear about his battle with addiction. I can relate. I just hope this is for real and not some type of Barbara Walters episdoe.

This is one of the most well done TNA dvd's in a long time. I have finished watching the documentary and Steve Borden is very down to earth and admits that he came to TNA because it reminds him of early WCW. He also feels like TNA is a small threat to VKM and the WWE.

Well worth the $14.44 that I spent on this alone for the documentary, but the matches are great to watch, and the bonus materials are an added bonus.

Wasn't out at Wal-Mart today. Did you find it in with new releases, or just out on the shelf? I checked both and came home empty handed.
