    TEW 07

For anyone who hasn't been keeping track of this game's development... here's a link to the 4 page dev. journal.

This game looks like it might rule my world when it comes out. It looks fantastic.

Rule the world? It's gonna rule the universe! I just hope the GDS site doesn't crash because I want that game as soon as it's released.

With all the new features, it'll actually be fun to play with a real world mod. But that Cornellverse is sooo addictive.

I loved EWR and the first TEW (2005?). I will definitely keep an eye on this.

I'm not familiar with this game, but just glancing over it it looks like a Smackdown vs Raw GM Mode game, but on the clear and the cream and packed with a buncha features. I might check it out.

Question though: Is this game multiplayer in any fashion?

Yeah, but the system is kind of tricky if you want to do it over the 'net. You have to mail your game save file back and forth and can't advance until the other player(s) do their thing. I've never gotten into those multi-player games, but I''ve heard they never last long. Maybe it changes this year, but I don't recall anything.

So I downloaded the demo of TEW 2005. I'm enjoying it so far, and I'm considering getting the 2007 version now. I started off by downloading a real-life mod and creating my own promotion, which I set the size right below TNA's default size, and I hired some decent workers. However, sometimes I feel way over my head and overwhelmed about the scale of the game. How much activity should I have each day, given that I only run two booked cards a week (neither of which are televised yet)? I find myself doing a lot on some days, and then simply skipping through some as well. Also any general tips from those who have played the game more than I have as to how to build up a promotion?

Try to run the best cards you can, and try to get the best heat on your storylines. If you see a talented young worker, pick him up and set him against good workers to build him up to put him in the main event status. Be adamant about trying to get a TV deal, and you'll be good.

Anything else... I don't think so... if I think of something... Oh! Sign a woman with really good looks and before the show starts, put her in a preshow Sex Sells segment. It'll help the quality of the show. It won't work in TEW 2007 though. Remember to use pre-show matches to try out workers, try teams of workers who haven't been making a splash. Run cards all around the US to start building your popularity. For the TV deal, try to get it only in your area at first, or more than 1 but not a national deal. If you're below TNA, you just won't get one.

The mods that are made for the Adam Ryland games are so fun, its unreal. Can't wait for TEW, just hopefully I'll be able to get it with a paypal account.
