Primetime rating!!
Well, according to TNAwrestlingnews, the primetime edition did a 1.1 rating. I guess it's not too bad, but not too good either. I mean, they did this a couple times at 11pm. Hopefully they can build on it now.Highheat's O's Franchise

Re: Primetime rating!!
Well, all I know is, it will take time. TNA needs that 2nd hour permanently first. TNA was the talk at my work for the first time ever Friday morning. It wasn't WWE this, WWE that, but the people I talked to were impressed that saw it for the first time. I'm sure that was the case in alot of places. Hopefully they build on this and focus on the things they need to that separate them from the E. Maybe that's an issue as well though. WWE has it's followers and they won't watch anything else that doesn't fit their tastes, and vice versa, so maybe TNA needs to be more WWE'ish. I hope it doesn't end up going that way, but sometimes being the spot they are in now, they might not have a choice.Highheat's O's Franchise

Re: Primetime rating!!
If that is true, then this article states that UFC drew at least a 3.1 on one occasion -- the hightest primetime rating in the history of Spike.
Also, according to this article, the record-low for the past season was a 1.0, which is pretty much on even par with what TNA pulled in it's primetime debut.

Re: Primetime rating!!
Well, Spike TV is happy about the rating considering the competition on Thursday nights. At least that's a good sign. Here is the link.

Re: Primetime rating!!
You aren't going to grow as a company if you can't draw more fans.
Of course Spike is happy about the ratings, it seems to be right on par with what they had on before. As long as they aren't actually losing viewers by the thousand, they aren't going to be critical. It's a little different for TNA though. They need the ratings to improve by leaps and bounds if they are ever going to be even a slight contender to the WWE empire. The ratings for Impact have barely even moved since the show have barely even moved in over a year now. That isn't good, no matter how you slice it.Comment

A 1.1 is terrible, no matter how you slice it. If it doesn't improve, it will be moved somewhere else.NFL: Tennessee Titans
