Schiavone doubled as the voice of the Charlotte O's Double-A affiliate of the Baltimore Orioles back in those days.

            That's comedy gold right there!

            *******************************************

I do have to say this tho, I've been watching quite a few NWA World Championship Wrestling shows and man Flair was an arrogant SOB. At some point it all changed and he became a cool heel/legend who almost always had to be cheered.

I kinda liked the meaner, more arrogant Flair. I know that when watching those old shows that I actually hated him. That just goes to show that Flair is a true legend. I mean his old material STILL has power even tho his original character has been watered down greatly.

Was he as big of a shill back then as he later became? Even watching the old NWA shows he found ways to self promote the product more then you would see from the other territories.
