I remember when he first took the book in WCW. He had Buff Bagwell in an angle where Buff feared for his job. He came down for a match with someone, (Ernest Miller or Disco Inferno?) and lost in about 10 seconds. Immediatley after the three count, he jumps up, gets a mic, and starts jumping while yelling "Hey Vince! Did I do a good job?" over and over. haha. "Job".

Only thing was, not too many people got it.

Now, with VKM, if someone is flipping through the channells, how are they supposed to know that these skits are supposed to be bad?

This is just a ridiculous storyline. I love how they seem to be indicating they were the driving force of what made DX, when in reality DX made them. Neither is really that good in the ring, Road Dogg has good mic skills, but not really much else. I guess I can see why Billy Gunn is mad after the homosexual angle he had in the WWF, it would hilarious for them to pull out those clips if they ever choose to respond to this nonsense.

I wouldn't mind seeing the street fight, and I'd take HHH and HBK in a heart beat over Gunn and a former drug addict.

Agree with everything you said. Somebody needs to take Road Dogg and Billy Gunn behind the stables and put them out of their misery.

Eh, to be fair though, Bagwell was always an arse and for all we know could have pulled that stunt on his own... Or maybe he just wanted to tag with his mom Judy.

It's funny how everyone that thinks this is lame or is taking up for Vince and the E convienently forgets that they did the same damn thing back in the day with the whole D-X invades WCW storyline.

Was that conisdered lame? Ummm no. Was that ever going to result in a fight, a reaction from WCW, a match, an angle between them? Ummm no. Did it get people in wrestling circles and fans talking? Of course it did.

This is exactly what TNA is doing. It's all about controversy and creating a buzz...that's what DX and the WWE did with their angle and it's the same here. People are talking about this, whether it's positive or negative, and quite frankly I think that's all TNA wants...publicity and people talking about them, they want to be recognized as direct competition for the E and what better way of doing it than directly calling them out.

Smarks may no the backstory and what's going but if you take the casual fan or a mark that doesn't know any better and they see two guys that used to be in the WWE talking about Vince and D-X than they're going to tune in just to find out what's going on...it's intriguing to them.

I personally find this entire thing hilarious, I love the angle....the WWE is just getting a taste of their own medicine. They used to parody WCW and their acts all the time, now the tables are turned. I used to love it when WWE and WCW would call each other out and take shots at each other...made for great TV.

But then again, screw this...I'd rather see the build up for a John Cena/Kevin Federline match. Now THAT is entertaining lol.

Mizzou, for what you said to be true people need to tune into TNA, which we all know rarely happens. WWE is crappy at this point yes, I will not disagree with that, but stop acting like TNA is a promotion to be taken seriously at this point. In my dorm hall, there are a bunch of us that watch wrestling, and none have heard of TNA. I watch it, because I like wrestling, but TNA isn't quality yet.

But for the love of god, please get the two E rejects off my screen. You weren't good enough to be on the bottom of the card on the E, you should NOT be featured in TNA.

Why shouldn't TNA be taken seriously???

It's in ring product is far and away better than the WWE's and they have a strong roster. People are always going to look for an alternative and TNA is a viable one for them considering they're on TV every week, have big names that the casual fan knows about, and are just continuing to build.

The WWE is so ridiculous right now it's not even funny...I barely even watch them. What's the point? There's hardly anything compelling on any of the WWE's programming outside of CM Punk.

For me wrestling right now is ROH, Pro Wrestling NOAH, and TNA...that's about it.

The storylines aren't anything to write home about, and all the matches i seem to see when Im here watching moves seem to be pre-sold and it doesnt look like a real fight, more like a dance.

Also, I remember watching the show after Sting got DQ'd and lost the title... There was a double team for a good 2 minutes in the ring, with the ref just standing there watching the tag team beat up one opponent. That makes no sense to me. The losing the belt while being DQ'd seems kind of stupid to me, as well.

I'm with you on RoH and NOAH though. I'll watch WWE and TNA just to see what the big company, and the fledgling are doing.

Yeah I'm not going to sit here and gush all over TNA, they do screw a lot of things up...no denying that. I can just stomach them a lot more than the WWE.

Doesn't really matter because for me, ROH trumps them all. It's the only promotion I follow regularly and is the best thing going in wrestling as far as I'm concerned.

Back in it's day, the DX invasion thing was actually pretty cool, and the timing was right.

This reeks of the "Huckster and Nacho Man" skits that WWF used to put on when WCW was kicking their ***.
