The WWECW's Use of CM Punk

Is it me or are his talents being wasted by the WWECW right now? I've seen some of his ROH matches and it looks like the WWECW version of Punk is a semi-******** JV version of what he can do. I can get why the Pepsi Plunge isn't allowed because of HHH's bitchiness, but what about the submission holds he had outside of the Anaconda Vice? Anyone know why we don't see any of those used?

I can tell you've seen enough wrestling that you shouldn't be asking about WWE's washed down wrestling. Your not going to see any of those wrestlers potential. Just hope he wise's up a leaves.

It's probably becuse they want to dumb down Punk in the ring and get him to do WWE's style of wrestling. It's like with John Cena when he first got started the WWE forced him to do just certain moves and nothing more making his ring character a little stale.

Personally I think there using him just fine, There not rushing anything and prob seeing how he's doing with all the guys and everything. He got sent to Iraq for the Christmas thing so It looks like he's moving up good in the Eye's of Vince.

Does anyone have any evidence that Triple H is the reason the Pepsi Plunge is not being done? I personally think that move just looks risky and WWE really doesnt like many risky moves.

I don't think the Pepsi Plunge looks that risky to me, it is simply a Pedigree from the top rope. The one thing I thought about it not being used was how you set it up. I only saw it used once in the DVD I saw, but I can see where it would be a little hard to set up. It also makes the Pedigree look overly simple, which I am sure HHH pointed out.

Also, what happened to the CM Punk/Kelly Kelly storyline? That evaporated quickly.

Well Who knows, Maybe he will start doing it one day...Plus in all reality it is the same Move The Top Star does in the WWE its just off the Top Ropes.

Jw.....You kinda make it like you know Triple H and the inside info of the business the way you talk about Triple H not allowing it.

I think there doing fine with CM Punk, Taking it slow and moving him up...They dont have to push someone they see as a star instantly b/c they have stars....They just have to keep building younger one's and it looks like they have one.

Well I can very easily do a 6 degrees of separation to Triple H (3 degrees actually) but no inside information on my part. It just seems logical the top star who is married to the daughter of the boss would want a new kid doing an edgier version of his finisher.

Aside from that move, it would just be nice to see some more submission holds from Punk, he seemed to be quite creative in ROH with those holds. He also seemed to be quite good on the mic, and I would love to see a heel turn and his old "I'm better than you" persona come out, but I guess that'll come in time.

The thread wasn't about his push, it was about his moveset.

That being said, it does seem like he's being dumbed down for the masses, but I never saw him in ROH or anywhere else. I was going on what I heard from OS... and he's fantastic in promos.

Of course his moveset was changed, it's the E! Jeez. And when you step back and take a look at his matches, why would he need to bust out anything else? Those were squash matches and he's getting over without using 423857998457 moves in a match.

BTW, what's WWECW? Is that a wrestling show? What time is it on? I never heard of it and I always thought Punk was on "ECW".

They learned the hard way with Orton not to push to hard, to fast.

As for the Pepsi-plunge, even with knee pads, doing that move nearly 5 days a week, forget about it. Quick way to hobble itius like Austin and others. The impact of the Pedigree has taken it's toll on HHH.
