SAMOA JOE AND AJ STYLES VS. KURT ANGLE AND RHINO
Last week, Kurt Angle snapped after Samoa Joe refused to give the Olympic gold medalist a rematch. As a result, Cornette offered Angle the opportunity to face Joe in a tag team bout this Thursday night on SpikeTV! It will be Samoa Joe and AJ Styles teaming for the first time ever to face the tandem of Kurt Angle and Rhino! With Styles and Rhino also at war, all hell is sure to break loose in this huge tag team main event on “iMPACT!”. Can Styles and Joe co-exist? What about Angle and Rhino? Sting may have the NWA World Heavyweight Title, but Abyss is still the recognized champion! The wrestling icon will be in singles action this Thursday night, but will he relinquish control of the gold back to Abyss? Why did he take the gold last week? Certainly, Abyss and manager James Mitchell will be in attendance looking to get back the championship. Will Christian Cage and Tomko be looking to capitalize on the situation as well? TABLES MATCH – TEAM 3D VS. THE NATURALS
Thursday’s “iMPACT!” will also feature a return “Tables Match” between tag team kingpins Team 3D and The Naturals! Chase Stevens and Andy Douglas – thanks to manager “The Franchise” Shane Douglas – were able to beat 3D at their own match in the last meeting and are looking to do it again on Thursday night. However, Team 3D has vowed it will be an entirely different outcome on “iMPACT!”.
