Right, that is what I was thinking. I just wish it would have stayed Lashley vs. Holly tonight, why give us Test vs. Lashley when it's on PPV.

Holly's hurt. And unfourtunately, there's no other heels capable of Main eventing on "ECW".

Yea, I'm thinking Holly didn't get cleared at the last moment. Perhaps the numbness in his arm reappeared.

And with no other heels, giving the belt to Test going into Mania would probably be the best solution.

It would have been nice if Holly at least came out and took out Test & Lashley to make it a bit of a controversial finish. It seems stupid to have your pay-per-view match five days before the PPV and have the face champion win cleanly. It makes Lashley look superior, and now when Test wins the title at the Rumble, it'll look like a fluke.

I would have liked Burke to get a shot at Lashley in the main event tonight. Lashley could have dominated the match, but have it end in a no decision with Test interfering. That makes Lashley look dominant, continues his fued with Test, and gives the fans the idea that Burke is main event material(or at least upper-card) without making Lashley look weak or pushing Burke down our throats. And let's be honest, ECW really needs other legitimate heels(especially with Holly always hurt), and Burke is the perfect guy for the spot.

Oh well.

Not a bad show I guess. ECW is so hit-or-miss lately. One week it's great, the next week it's just average. This was one of the average weeks.

Just a follow up on Holly...

He wrestled the dark match prior to yesterday's tapings against Chavo. The reports say that it was a really short squash. Probably to stop the Mobile crowd from rioting.
