Question for you guys about Impact?

First off, another good show from TNA. Everything is really being built up well as we head to Against All Odds. My question for you guys is, after Sting revealed Abyss's past with him shooting his father in the back 3 times, Abyss beat him down, took him to the outside of the arena, and Mitchell was waiting there for Sting. He put a fireball literally right in his face. How do they do that without being injured? I mean, it was literally right in the mug. Just curious.

Flash Paper. It goes out out almost as soon as it's lit. You gotta be quick with it. So, Sting felt some heat, but by the time it "hit" him, the flame was almost dead.

I didn't see Impact tonight (Wensday is late night at the gym), but that's how it usually works.

Thanks man, if you get a chance Saturday, check it out. I mean it was lit right on his mug. I've seen it used before in the old NWA days and once Mitchell did it to Raven with some sort of gun, but I mean he was right on top of the Stinger.

Did sting have his face-paint on? If so, they could've probably put the same substance they put on Kane whenever he lost an Inferno Match. I remember reading something about some substance they'd put on him to keep the fire from actually burning him for long enough to put the fire out when he ran to the back.

Could've applied a little of that - need to look for the stuff about Kane, I'm pretty sure that is how it went - along with the flash paper so it didn't actually hurt him.

Yeah, Sting had his face paint on. You could see that most of it burned (melted?) off when he turned back towards the camera.
