I was amazed this morning. Utterly amazed. I'm walking to the copy machine here at work and overheard three women...one in her mid 20's, one in her mid 40's, and one who just turned 60...talking about the possibility of Donald Trump having his head shaved at Wrestlemania.

The one in her mid 20's said her boyfriend and her were going to a bar to watch it. The woman in her 40's said she wanted to see it. The woman who just turned 60 offered to get it on satellite and invite the woman in her 40's over to watch it.

Three women - non-wrestling fans - talking about Wrestlemania three days before it happens. Vince McMahon is still a genius! Now, I'm not saying these women are going to be clamoring to see the next PPV or RAW the following Monday, but they're talking about it. And are even planning on watching it!

If this Trump stunt has these women talking, think of all the fringe wrestling fans who might've stopped watching possibly being lured back in by this. I am amazed...utterly amazed. The man still has it.

My receptionist who is pushing 40 asked me today to tell her which one gets their head shaved sunday. She knows that I'm going to see it but it caught me off gaurd that she'd even be interested enough to care. So you're right, Vinny does still got it.

it's interestingto hear this, especially since one would think the majority of people don't believe that Trump would ever actually shave his head, even if it were for charity.

Wrestling is truly becoming slightly more popular IMO. Not only have I finally converted my girlfriend (!!!!!!!!), but at work (Dunkin Donuts) and at school everyone's talking about it. Especially this match. Hell, I just wrote an article on WrestleMania in my school paper.

I'm happy to see it.

O no matter what anyone says Vinny Mac has it ..never lost it he just kinda got maybe over his head.

Sure its still not what it was a few years ago but I believe its only b/c he doesnt have the superstars he once had ..rock, stone cold, mick foley in his prime and so on.


I can't wait until WRestlemania...about 15 of us at my buddies house..should be great.

TJ's experience doesn't suprise me. Did anyone really think that Vince would let an angle like this flop? It's not football, it's wrestling; he knows what he's doing.

Slowly but surely the newest boom period is coming. Even though PPV buys are down, I think they're about to pick up with co-branded shows. We got house show business going good...and now middle aged woman talking about wrestling.

I kid you not folks... today my school announced over email that they would be showing Wrestlemania in Westover which is our main eating lounge... I was shocked. But I love it! Free Wrestlemania for me!

First time they have ever done anything like this before, but I'm excited!

It's too bad there isn't a chance in hell Trump loses. If it happens, it'd be just fantastic for wrestling in general because it just seems so impossible that Trump would consent to having his head shaved bald. If he miraculously did, Vinny-Mac will get even more points from me

btw certain betting sites are taking bets on who will get their head shaved... I'm not going to bet on it... but I'm just saying, anyone wants to make a quick buck look for the site, cause we all know who's going to lose.

Wrestling goes through cycles, always has and always will. It will hit a peak again, fairly soon, then go back into another downward trend, and back up.

I feel your pain I have been with my wife 7 years. She watched for like A year when the Hardys were big then she lost intrest and hasn't watched since !!!
