Dirt sheets have been around for a long time. Some of these people just sit at their computer and think what they can make up.

I don't even need to respond to that one...Sometimes its better for people to just keep quiet than to make up shtuff like that.

I'll admit that I read the "dirt sheets" and I post "news" on here as well. I only post what I think some of you guys will want to hear. I don't post any stupid rumors because I know there is no point in that. And yes 95% of the crap on those sites is crap. I'm not taking a shot at you or thinking that you are taking at me. It's not like that. Your post just kind of struck me because you're saying that 90% of the people on these boards read them and try to break the news. Not everyone who posts the "news" on here can think highly enough of it to post it, then after the posters reactions just say it's a stupid rumor I agree with you guys.

I honestly thought it was slightly plausible... just because after the whole selling of the leg for the first stretch, Cena became Superman. *shrug* I'm not nearly the smart fan you guys are.

Then again I'd believe Cena had something to do with 9/11 to get him off my TV with that belt.

I love how 85% of the IWC was saying Cena deserved a title shot before he got one, and now that he has it he doesn't deserve it.

                  Whatever.

See I dont think theres anything wrong with reading those sites, I don't believe on reading spoilers who's gonna win a ppv and so on ..b/c that would be pointless.

I do like reading just some of the b/s they put on there and Truthfully crazy enough A lot of stuff they post ends up being right even tho I want it to be wrong.

It's always been like that, people bitch and moan someone deserves a bigger push, he gets it, and then they turn on him.

Christ, if CM Punk got the push many believe he deserves a good portion of them would turn on him in a second.

Look for Ultimate Warrior to be making a brief 1-2 month appearance during this feud to further give it some credibility.

Agreed, not saying everything is wrong. But most of it just rumor, hear-say, etc.

I used to read them every day, and I ended up hating the product I was watching. I stopped and enjoyed wrestling for a good 3 year stretch. I've freely admitted that I'm not feeling the current product being put out there, but it seems to be getting better.

And I don't personally care if people post the stuff they find. If it's real, graet, if not, it's nothing different than a sports trade rumor or videogame rumor. The only problem is, everytime news like this is posted, you have 10 straight posts saying stupid Internet rumor (like I did). Oh well.

I agree with you guys. I find it entertaining whenever I read the rumors. I have somewhat stopped reading "spoiler" related posts for TV shows as it helps enjoy the show a bit more.

I agree with James, people want to classify some of us as being "IN THE KNOW" which is totally incorrect. Being "IN THE KNOW" to me is being a part of the business and fully knowing what is going on. All of us sitting here on our computers don't know much as to what goes on in the back as were not a part of their business, and only know a small portion of crap that goes on through the sites. Why should that stop us from discussing things?

When I used to post rumors, spoilers and whatever of that nature, it was more for discussion purposes. It was for discussion, not for me to act like I was a part of the business. Like I said above, to be "IN THE KNOW" you need to be a part of the business and none of us are. But then I was tagged as being "Mr. In The Know" which was wrong by the people that tagged me that. Yes, I made a mistake for the first few months and not posted a SPOILER TAG in the subject, but not a single mod didn't say anything about it until around January of last year which was a good 7 months of me doing that.

Why do people discuss politics? religion? how Fortune 500 companies are doing? the direction that a particular instituition is heading? If I came on here every day and posted something about the direction of Forturne 500 Companies that I read in Business Week, Newspapers, or watch the local business channel does that put me "In The Know" for that also even though I only work for 1 of those Fortune 500 companies?

Agree a lot of it is just them going off rumors..See I'm more of a guy that reads those sites just to hear b/s about what is going on outside the show, Who like who, Who doesnt like this person and What Joey Mercury was doing to get fired and so on.

I only read the sites here and there but I never read into what will happen on Raw or PPV's. I do read spoilers for Smackdown and TNA only b/c I dont watch those shows So I might as well know the results.
