My biggest regret from my time writing and my time as head writer is the way we treated Rey. Vince had this image in his head of Rey being a very much, underneath guy. 'Gosh, I'm so lucky to be champion' guy. He decided that and we -- and I -- tried to do my best to give Vince what he wanted but try to keep it on Rey and I wish I had worked harder on it.

So Vince does know what he is doing and all the writers f it up. If Rey had been played up like Daniel Bryan with his luck, I'd have been a lot more for him as champion. Too often, he beat guys 2 and 3x his size pretty readily and it just isn't believable when it happens often enough. I know it is wrestling and the underdog does win, but there is an underdog, and there is someone that I was the size of as like a 10-year old.

--There is something to watch. Brianna & Nicole Garcia, the Bella Twins in WWE, are doing an autograph show on 5/19 at Frank & Sons in the City of Industry, CA. They are being advertised as "Brianna and Nichole, formerly The Bella Twins in WWE." We also got word of a convention in New Jersey that has them booked although is not advertising it yet, and WWE talent is not allowed at their events. If they are not on television tonight, I'd read something into this. Given Nikki Bella just beat Beth Phoenix in a non-title match at Smackdown, it wouldn't seem that they would be quitting or being let go today. There were rumors over the weekend that WWE had made some cuts but they wouldn't be announced until everything was finalized and everyone was contacted. WWE did not confirm anything regarding the Twins.

As we noted earlier, the rumor that the Bellas were released today is incorrect. However, we have heard from one source outside WWE that the Bellas have given notice and will be finishing up with the company at the end of April. We are working to confirm that with a WWE source

Sean Jacoby claims that the twins’ WWE contracts are set to expire on April 30th and they won’t be re-signing. He adds that he is currently handling their post-WWE bookings including the May 19th autograph session.
