Obviously it'll change, but MNF doesn't look all that impressive to me this year either. The only ones I can confidently predict now that should be good is 49ers/Falcons, Saints/Seahawks, Bears/Packers
Saints, LSU, Seminoles, Pelicans, Marlins, Lightning

So supposedly the Briscoes were set to sign with the E, but Jay made some tweet about not teaching his kids about same sex marriage or something like that and WWE pulled the contracts back. So now the Briscoes are being written out of ROH since their contracts expired. It'll be interesting to see what will happen.

Re: The OS WWE 'Dirt' Thread

Taz wrote an interesting comment earlier this evening on Twitter:

"Couple of big wrestling shows in my "hometown" of Brooklyn! #RedHookNearBarclay"

What's most interesting about this Tweet is, WWE will tape Raw for the first time at the Barclays Center on July 15th, the day after the Money in the Bank pay-per-view event.

Taz's contract with TNA Wrestling is set to expire in just a few weeks according to PWInsider. TNA will have a show in Brooklyn on July 5th, but Taz did not specifically reference that date, venue, or MCU Field at all, instead cryptically making a reference to the Raw taping.

Update: PWInsider is now reporting that Taz's contract may end as early as this weekend. Taz has also removed the postings from his Twitter account.

Hope this happens. I always liked Tazz's commentary work back when he'd work with Cole on Smackdown. Maybe this is why they let Striker walk.

                            From NODQ:

                            - As seen on WWE TV, Christian has been feuding with The Shield. This will likely lead to a United States Title match at SummerSlam with Christian challenging Dean Ambrose.

                            - Regarding the quality of WWE TV in recent weeks and how it pertains to the writers, word is that it's not The McMahons nor the writers that should be credited, but a lot of good luck. A source says that the Mark Henry retirement ruse, as it was scripted, was good but far from the great segment it turned out to be. Henry took the segment in a direction that wasn't planned and one that nobody saw coming.

                            - The June 24th RAW, for the first time in weeks had minimal changes from how the show was presented on June 21st, last Friday, when scripts were finalized. John Cena and CM Punk had already gone through and approved their segments before the final script was presented.

                            - Independent wrestler Ricky Marvin is trying to get a deal with WWE.

                            - One of the reasons WWE has brought in so many top independent wrestlers is because agent Jamie Noble keeps up with that scene and he's the one who recommends the talents to WWE.

                            - There are no plans for Alberto Del Rio to go back to using rental cars for his entrances now that he's back to working as a heel. There were those within WWE against the gimmick because they felt every fan knew it was fake and forced.

                            - While not announced, The Miz vs. Curtis Axel for the WWE Intercontinental Title is planned for the Money in the Bank pay-per-view.

                            - WWE head writer David Kreizman was talked into staying until mid-August because his original direction of things were building to SummerSlam and they wanted him to stay until the completion of his direction. Plus, WWE wants him to help train whoever they hire as his replacement. There was a feeling that the new writer would have problems with the pressure building to SummerSlam, whereas now he can ease into the role, get comfortable from September through December before the WrestleMania season pressure starts.

Regarding the creative situation, Stephanie McMahon's role has been minimized as she's only involved when needed. Brian James has been put into creative because they want someone who has a pro wrestling perspective to be in with the soap opera and TV writers because Michael Hayes isn't in the office regularly anymore. Hayes is on conference via phone at major meetings but they want a wrestling person at the meetings as well.

When it comes to the re-writes on Mondays and Tuesdays, David Kapoor (Ranjin Singh) has been in charge of those but his position has changed. Kapoor delegates the workload to the writers after Vince McMahon makes all the changes. He also interacts with TV people, the App people and the WWE.com people to make sure they all know of the changes.

Ed Koskey is now the lead writer for RAW while Ryan Ward, who got rave reviews for his work as NXT's writer, has been promoted to the lead writer of SmackDown.

Evidently, Vince doesn't see money in Daniel Bryan.

"In an update to that story, F4WOnline.com is now reporting that the superstar in question is Daniel Bryan, and the following is a PWTorch.com transcript of what HBK had to say in the interview:

"I had a conversation a couple of weeks ago with the man in charge and we were talking about a certain individual and he goes, 'I just don't see money in him.' And I said, 'You said the same thing about me.' He said, 'I did not.' I said, 'Yes you did!' (laughs) I said, 'And it's okay. It's just one of those things.'"

"I wasn't your prototypical—heck, I wasn't anybody's prototypical main event guy. And I knew that. So, you just do your absolute best," said Michaels. "Yes, I was very scared and very worried, which had a lot to do with how bad I handled stuff because I spent a great deal of my career waiting for the other shoe to drop. Because it was a very real view of me and my ability and my talent. I'm a firm believer that talent does rise to the top, but you have to be patient. So, I spent a great deal of time worried, intimidated, and concerned that with each passing storyline, it might be the last one."

According to the F4WOnline.com report, because Daniel Bryan will be featured prominently in the upcoming Total Divas reality show due to his real life relationship with Brie Bella, his position in WWE is said to be "safe" for the time being. As we previously reported, there has been talk of Bryan challenging John Cena for the WWE Title at SummerSlam this year."

HBK claimed on Twitter that he was not talking about Bryan.

But it wouldnt surprise me if Vince isnt into Bryan with the ratings not instantly skyrocketing after one main event for the guy. A bunch of fickle guys in the back it seems.
