- R-Truth is featured on the promotional poster for WWE's Hell In a Cell pay-per-view. Here's the poster and synopsis from In Demand:
"Home to WWE's most grueling match, it is a fearsome tower of unforgiving steel where success and escape go hand-in-hand. Once inside, the only way out is to win. Don't miss your favorite WWE Superstars at WWE Hell in a Cell."
Spoiler
- Triple H is expected to wrestle twice between now and WrestleMania XXX. A match against Big Show has been rumored.
- As noted earlier, Mark Henry may have suffered an injury to his knee during a run-in at the end of last night's WWE House Show in Boston, MA.
PWInsider has provided an update mentioning that Henry may have suffered some sort of hamstring injury. Their report states that the injury doesn't appear to be serious and he will work through it.Last edited by philliesfan136; 09-01-2013, 03:08 PM.Comment

Re: The OS WWE 'Dirt' Thread
- There was an incident during the Cody Rhodes vs. Randy Orton match at RAW last night where WWE officials sent security out to calm down a situation going on in the crowd. Apparently fans were dressed as Randy Savage, Ric Flair and either Hulk Hogan or Jake Roberts. The fans were getting more attention than the match and this had WWE officials furious.
- WWE officials are being forced to re-program the Tag Team Title match for Night of Champions due to Mark Henry's injury. Henry and Big Show were scheduled to face Roman Reigns and Seth Rollins for the titles. With Darren Young and Titus O'Neil getting wins on TV, it looks like they may be getting the shot at Night of Champions.
- Word going around at RAW last night was that Cody Rhodes is taking a few weeks off to get married and go on his honeymoon. Cody is getting married to former WWE Diva Brandi Reed (Eden Stiles). He will be brought back to the storylines in a few weeks.
- Triple H commented on his decision to "fire" Cody Rhodes, writing on Twitter, "Sadly, many do not have the capacity to understand. It's not about the individual, it's about what's best for everyone. #ThankYouCody"
Cody Rhodes's profile has since then been removed from the active roster and placed under WWE's alumni section.Comment

I think it hilarious that they got mad at fans dressing up as their wrestlers.Comment

Re: The OS WWE 'Dirt' Thread
This isnt the first time the crowd got easily distracted during an Orton match. Hopefully Orton stops gooning for HHH and starts shinning a bit as the champion. I honestly forgot he was champion with the way HHH has been talking the past few weeks.Comment

Re: The OS WWE 'Dirt' Thread
I check out mentally when Orton is in the ring. It feels stupid to be saying a guy has potential at this stage of his career, but that's how I would phrase it.
I'm just a little burnt out on his current gimmick. He's a solid heel, but let's face it.. HHH is leading this train right now. I think it would have been cool to even see a guy like Mark Henry (if healthy) in Orton's shoes right now.
I just need Orton to change his routine up a bit and I would be totally happy with how things are going right now. It's not too big of a deal, though.Comment

Re: The OS WWE 'Dirt' Thread
- Independent stars Davey Richards and Eddie Edwards were said to be the standouts at the WWE tryout camp that ran from August 28th until August 30th at the WWE Performance Center in Orlando. Other wrestlers at the camp included Joey Ryan, Tony DelFonzo, Sean Burke and Todd Hanson. There were 30 athletes in all, mostly independent wrestlers and a few others that had been recruited in. Overall, the attitudes of most and the work ethic were said to be good.
Reports are that Edwards was the most impressive, at least during the first day. The impression is that Richards and Edwards have a very good shot at being signed by WWE but that's not official and probably wouldn't happen for a few months. The guys that worked this camp, if any do get signed, they likely won't report to work until January, and that's if they can pass all medical tests.
Those judging the talents included Norman Smiley, Joey Mercury, Terry Taylor, William Regal, Gerald Brisco and Jim Ross. The camp was ran by Bill DeMott.
- Mark Henry has been cleared to return to action despite suffering a hamstring injury last weekend, according to F4WOnline.com
Henry underwent an MRI and was then cleared. Henry suffered the injury while doing a run-in at last Saturday's WWE live event in Boston, MA.
- For what it's worth, a local advertisement in Boston for WWE's Survivor Series pay-per-view on November 24th focuses on the CM Punk vs. Paul Heyman feud and the Daniel Bryan vs. Randy Orton feud.
- It's no secret that WWE is facing major ratings competition as the NFL's Monday Night Football returns this coming week. At this past Monday's RAW, a lot of people were asking why WWE didn't book a major angle to set up a mega-match on Monday's RAW to go against the NFL. Nobody had an answer.
- As of this past week, the plan is for both John Cena and Sheamus to be surprise returns at the Royal Rumble pay-per-view in January. One WWE source said with both of them returning on the same night, it seems doubtful that another big surprise like Jake "The Snake" Roberts would be factored into the 30-man match.
- We've noted how Kassius Ohno has had heat in WWE developmental and was pulled from NXT TV tapings because officials wanted him to improve his physique. Ohno has been putting over other talents at recent NXT live events and has now been removed from the NXT TV intro.
- It's said within WWE that Dolph Ziggler is being punished for something he said in an interview during SummerSlam week. No word yet on what Ziggler said that has WWE officials upset but it's said he's paying the price for saying the wrong thing.

- Sami Zayn teamed with Bo Dallas again to defeat Jack Swagger and Antonio Cesaro at last night's WWE live event in Brooklyn, NY at the Barclays Center. Like his match in Montreal over the weekend, there were loud chants for Zayn and the arena was chanting "ole!"
- Santino Marella may be returning to WWE TV on tonight's RAW from Toronto.
- There has been talk of doing a major babyface turn with Big E Langston in the coming weeks.Comment
