Re: The OS WWE 'Dirt' Thread

    - Bray Wyatt is adding speculation to reports that Kane will be returning as a member of The Wyatt Family. A fan on Twitter mentioned to Bray that Kane already "fell" at SummerSlam. Wyatt replied:

"Kane didnt fall, he was chosen. Rebirth"

    - Curt Hawkins worked as a babyface at last night's WWE live event in Syracuse, New York. He lost to NXT Champion Bo Dallas with the title on the line.

    - We noted before that Drew McIntyre was being discussed for a character change and that he may be leaving 3MB soon. After missing some ringside appearances with partners Heath Slater and Jinder Mahal, McIntyre has changed his Twitter bio. Last night he tweeted, "#WheresDrew?" He also tweeted a "what's next" message last week:

"WWE gives me unique opportunity to feel like working territories, first Mid South as Chosen One, Memphis madness with 3MB,wonder what's next"

Drew's Twitter bio now reads like this, mentioning his old "Chosen One" gimmick:

"WWE Superstar Drew McIntyre's forceful nature is only outdone by his extreme confidence and ironclad resolve as The Chosen One."

If Drew goes back to being the Chosen One there's no way he doesn't end up in the corporate storyline right? I mean, since he then will be Vince's guy again and stuff.
That's not an insult, THAT is just a fact of life.

I doubt it, unless they're interested in seeing 10,000 people in an arena yawn that night when it's revealed.

            - The plan as of Thursday was for Randy Orton's match against Daniel Bryan for the WWE Championship to headline Sunday's Battleground pay-per-view. The match is expected to start at approximately 10:25 PM ET, which would allow the match to go on for around 30 minutes.

WWE has been building a finish to the bout where either The Big Show ends up leading to Bryan winning the title, or swerves and costs Bryan the title.

            - - As noted on earlier, it appears changes are in store for Drew McIntyre and he may be returning to his Chosen One gimmick. WWE posted a "Where's Drew?" tweet tonight:

            "Is @TheDrewMcIntyre in #WWEAlbany? #WheresDrew"

boooooo, I don't want Big Show in the main event.

So we're pretty much guaranteed Show ruining Bryan's chance? Either that or he helps Bryan win and then knocks him out.

Big show going from cry baby to angry man who wants the belt is a yearly thing it seems.

We finally start seeing different people in the main event (he was last competing for a championship in winter with Del Rio, had a WWE Championship match last August) and you guys complain. Just get Cena back so you all will be "happy".

It is actually interesting where they will go. Will he join the Corporation? Take out both to get his shot? Help Bryan?

Show has been in the championship picture off and on since like what, 2000? I was in 8th grade when he first won the belt.

Re: The OS WWE 'Dirt' Thread

                    - WWE has signed Northern California independent wrestler Brian Reid to a developmental deal. Reid is 6'2", 275 pounds and uses the ring name Brian Tannen.

                    - To promote the upcoming tour in Abu Dhabi, TheNational.ae recently spoke to several WWE Superstars on topics such as fans behavior, life as a wrestler and more. They also talked about people who say wrestling is fake:

Brodus Clay: "I love it when people say WWE is fake, it makes me laugh. You know, when you see Clint Eastwood, Arnold Schwarzenegger or Bruce Willis in Die Hard on the screen, no one says: ‘It’s all fake.’ You believe that he’s The Terminator and he’s beating up all the people. You know, I still go to a movie and think Darth Vader is a real dude."

Titus O'Neil: "You think it’s fake? If I pick you up and slam you into the ground, you’re going to feel it. If you get hit in the back with a chair, you’re going to feel it. You can’t fake that stuff. We’re trained professionals. I think of myself as an entertainer, but I’m definitely an athlete, too."

Booker T: "Every fan that comes to a wrestling match, the majority know what it’s about. You know if you go to watch a movie, sometimes you find yourself clapping or cheering the characters on, even if you know it’s not real and they can’t hear you. If you go to a sports match, it could be a really dull game. But with WWE you know every match is going to be the highest form of entertainment."

The Miz: "If you know the answer, why would you ask? Most people treat it as a movie or a theatre show. It’s as simple as that."

                    - WWE announced that Santino Marella and The Great Khali will take on The Real Americans, Jack Swagger and Antonio Cesaro, in a tag team match at tonight's Battleground pay-per-view event.

                    - Despite the recent "Chosen One" teases by Drew McIntyre himself and WWE, Drew worked last night's WWE live event in Albany, New York as a member of 3MB. He teamed with Heath Slater and got pinned in a losing effort against Los Matadores.
And that dumb tag match can't be the pre-show?

I'll rephrase that I'm liking this storyline but how many more times will Big Show turn until he retires?

Show is nothing new in the championship scene though? This reminds me of the time he turned on Cena and got an iron clad contract. Do we really need that same thing to happen again?

Big Show in the championship scene is like if I say "Man, I'm sick of all the restaurants around here. They're getting old." and someone says "You know what you haven't eaten? Cat ****. Here have some cat ****."

I mean, it's new. But I'm not going to eat it.

Not particularly. He's had 7 title matches since last October. Albeit at the SD title but still...and just before that he was in the WWE title picture. Also that iron clad contract means this storyline doesn't even make any sense.

                                - Former TNA Knockout Tara spoke with VOC Wrestling Nation on her time in TNA Wrestling and if she would ever return to the organization.

TNA is out of the question. It wasn’t a good fit for me. I had a great run there, but it was very different from WWE. It made me appreciate WWE a lot.

Tara also spoke about her future and it if involves wrestling.

Never say never. I’m 42 and I’m still kicking *** and in better shape than when I was wrestling. It’s in my blood. I’m lucky that I live wrestling at my restaurant. I don’t think I’m done wrestling; I have a lot to give in terms of knowledge and helping other females.

                                - According to F4WOnline, WWE decided to add the tag-team match of The Great Khali and Santino Marella vs. Jack Swagger and Antonio Cesaro at tonight's WWE Battleground pay-per-view event because of timing issues.

Once WWE laid out the show with the planned match lengths, they realized they still have a significant amount of time left, so the call was made last minute to announce the match.

                                - Cody Rhodes revealed a new Rhodes family t-shirt on Twitter:

"I legit don't work here, so they can't be mad. EXCLUSIVE @WWE shirt"

                                - Even though CM Punk is dealing with several nagging injuries, and Ryback is limited to his in-ring work, the current plan is for the bout to still receive a decent amount of time at tonight's Battleground pay-per-view event. All signs point to the fact that the match should be kept short, but apparently that is not the case.

Additionally, the plan is for the Punk and Paul Heyman program to continue past this tonight's event, no matter who ends up going over in the actual match.
Here's hoping Victoria comes back as a trainer or something.
