Timing issues? Seems to me the smart thing to do would've been to add that to the current matches to make them (hopefully) better.

Is there a chance the "Real Americans" are turned face? I was at a show a few weeks back and they are beeing cheered more then Ive actually noticed. Im getting use to the "We the People" mock but these guys may become faces. with the arrival of los matadores. LM seems to be a tag team people will be booing in no time.

Re: The OS WWE 'Dirt' Thread

              - There has been talk of a re-packaged Wade Barrett returning on tonight's RAW. Barrett has been added to WWE's listing for tonight's show.

              - In what could be an indication of WWE's upcoming title feud plans for Alberto Del Rio, local advertisements in the Philadelphia area are listing Del Rio vs Christian for the World Title at the upcoming live event on October 13th at the Wells Fargo Center.

              - Rob Van Dam is expected to finish up with WWE at this week's TV tapings. As noted, RVD's deal calls for him to work in 90 day periods and he is finishing the first cycle that began at the Money in the Bank pay-per-view this week. There is talk of RVD writing an autobiography.

              - The storyline reason for Triple H and Stephanie McMahon not being on the Battleground pay-per-view is that they were called away to an emergency meeting before the show started.

              - Goldust is now back on the WWE roster after the Rhodes family's big win last night. It was never made clear that Goldust would get a job if they won. As noted, he is working under a short-term deal with WWE and is expected to be around through WrestleMania XXX.

              - WWE creative has been discussing a R-Truth heel turn.

WWE has published an article playing up to the possibility that Rob Van Dam will be taking time off from the company following his loss to Alberto Del Rio at the Battleground pay-per-view event.

"Now, with the golden losses beginning to pile up, a source has indicated that the ECW Original is considering taking some time off. While WWE.com cannot confirm or deny this rumor at this time, it will be interesting to see whether further details will come to light tonight on Monday Night Raw."

As noted earlier, RVD has been rumored to be going on a hiatus that was scheduled when he re-signed with the company.

              - WWE did the low blow finish to the CM Punk vs. Ryback match at Battleground because there was a feeling that neither man needed to lose the match.

              - Drew McIntyre continues to tease a character change. He tweeted last night during Battleground:

"Desire is like fog on a mirror -- its presence incites you to wipe the mirror, and see yourself clearly again #WWEBattleground #WheresDrew?"

              - Jim Ross tweeted the following in response to the wacky commentary during last night's Santino Marella and The Great Khali vs. Jack Swagger and Antonio Cesaro match at Battleground:

"Cold matches w/ no strong story supporting them can be challenging to broadcast. #WWEBattleground"
So new characters for Barrett, Drew, and maybe Truth. Interesting..

                      - Drew McIntyre's 3MB partners Heath Slater and Jinder Mahal have been tweeting him going into tonight's RAW, continuing the "#WheresDrew" campaign that apparently is leading to a character change for McIntyre. They wrote today:

Slater: "@TheDrewMcIntyre we have a match tonight, I'm sick and you are my chosen one.. Please show up tonight.. #wheresdrew #raw"

Mahal: "Are you in Pittsburgh for Raw? @TheDrewMcIntyre"

"Is there a reason you're avoiding me and Heath?? Why am I hearing crazy rumors ?? #WheresDrew #RewardOffered"

"..... If by any chance you come to #Raw, please bring the rope. We may possibly need it today. #WheresDrew @TheDrewMcIntyre"
looking forward to hearing Broken Dreams and seeing Future Shock again.

                              - Michael Hayes, who has been involved with WWE creative for a long time, has been away for a few weeks now. Hayes was given some time off to deal with some personal things and there's no timetable for his return.

                              - Joey Mercury, who recently worked as a NXT trainer, is already working his new job as a producer on the main roster.

                              - Tensai is at the WWE Performance Center this week working with the NXT Superstars.

                              - WWE has announced that Cody Rhodes and Goldust will face Erick Rowan and Luke Harper on Friday's SmackDown.

                              - For what it's worth, a lot of people backstage at Monday's RAW were wondering if Shawn Michaels getting involved at Hell In a Cell will lead to his in-ring return at WrestleMania XXX.

                              - Today would have been Eddie Guerrero's birthday. Vickie Guerrero has paid tribute to him on her Twitter this morning.

                              - PWInsider insists that reports of Rob Van Dam not re-signing with WWE are incorrect. RVD is already under contract, as we have noted, his deal calls for him to work 90 days and then take time off, as much as he wants. Van Dam can come back whenever he wants for another 90 days of work.

This is a deal that RVD and Triple H came up with, one that was signed off on by Vince McMahon. One of the reasons for the deal is RVD has so many of his own projects going on. RVD and WWE are on good terms with a new action figure coming out soon and a possible DVD in the future.

While RVD is away from WWE, he can still work for other wrestling companies but cannot appear on any of their TV programs. Word now is that he may be gone until the Royal Rumble season. WWE creative wants him to return then and work from the Royal Rumble through Extreme Rules, which obviously is more than 90 days.

                              - After the tag team of Santino Marella and Emma won over a lot of fans on NXT last week, the NXT Twitter and Facebook accounts are asking for fans to give them a name for their team.

                              - It turns out that John Cena wasn't hurt as much as doctors originally expected. When doctors examined him, they found only a partially torn triceps. This was known when WWE announced Cena's original recovery time.

There was talk of Cena still staying out of action until January but with WWE's thin roster, the decision was made to bring him back. WWE officials knew Cena would be returning 4 or 5 days ago but didn't decide on the match against Alberto Del Rio until this past weekend.

As of Monday, the plan is for Cena vs. Del Rio for the World Heavyweight Title to be a regular singles match, not a Hell In a Cell match.

                              - We previously noted that WWE had hired Shawn Spears back for a job in developmental. It was believed he would be helping with training but it appears he will be wrestling as he's changed his name to Tye Dillinger. His new Twitter handle is @WWEDillinger.

                              - It sounds like RAW General Manager Brad Maddox may be wrestling on this week's WWE tour of Abu Dhabi. He tweeted on Tuesday:

"#WweAbuDhabi. Is that a thing? Guess Ill find out. Think ill dust off the old wrasslin boots"

                              - There are a number of people within WWE, including Triple H, who feel that Aksana has something special and they want to keep her around.

                              - Christian is expected to return to action this weekend in the Northeast and at next week's Mexico house shows. Christian is scheduled to face Alberto Del Rio on those dates.

                              - Rey Mysterio is also slated to return to action on the Mexico tour.

Earlier we noted that Michael Hayes has not been around the company for sometime as he has been taking time off the road to handle some of his personal issues, however that doesn't seem to be the case according to former creative writer, Court Bauer.

Bauer revealed on the most recent episode of the “Bauer and Pollock Podcast that Michael Hayes has been suspended indefinitely by World Wrestling Entertainment for offering alcoholic beverages to Rosa Mendes just days after she returned to the company after a stint in rehab for substance abuse. Officials were shocked at his actions and deemed it insensitive enough to suspend him indefinitely.

                              - WWE announced that CM Punk will face Ryback in a rematch at Hell in a Cell.
