Is there a history between Sting and Taker that has people interested in this match happening? Its really just flying right over my head. There is nothing there. Would Sting be over if he came to WWE say next Monday night? I feel like he would get a courtesy pop. A bit of shock pop. But it would fizzle out quickly.

I think people just want the image of a Sting face to face with Taker in their full trenth coat attires just for the feels. But I think a program between the two would be snoresville.

You just have Taker come out 4 weeks before Mania as he usually does to see who he's gonna face, ya just have someone playing mind games with him, video promo without saying who it is. The next week he's pissed comes out demanding to know who it is, have the lights go out on Taker and fog and everything, but no one show. The third week we get the first glimpse of the Stinger. Taker comes out and the lights go down, one spot light to the rafters. The Raw before Mania, Taker comes out just livid, goes off on Stinger saying how he can't play mind games with him just cause he's the best to never wrestle for Vince or something like that. Stinger drops down from the rafters in all black, white face paint. All Sting does is point the baseball bat at Taker and it's on. The only thing would be that this would require Taker to talk a little more, but so be it, he can talk with the best of em. It would work and set up the match of crow Sting vs. the Deadman.

See WWE it's not that hard to write a good program, I did it in 3 minutes.

His contract expires in early January and he hasn't resigned with TNA yet.

I always felt that the streak should only be ended to give someone a monster heel push to someone with a future ahead of them. I would never understand putting Cena over, but it should have been Sheamus or Wade Barrett (since the Nexus helped bury him) a couple years ago. Now the only one who should get it is Ambrose or Reigns, but they'd want Reigns as a babyface. It's too late for Sheamus and Barrett, so there's no one who should really break it.

As for Stinger vs. Taker, it's the mystique and mystery behind them because of the crow version of Sting. I wouldn't want him to talk at all, just play mind games with Taker, show up in the rafters, etc. It would have been nice the year they had the cabin vignette that ended up being HHH. Now it's too late. Neither could carry the match, no sense in doing it now.

Yep, was Taker/HHH. Rumor has it they played the first one, and it got a lot of people talking about it potentially being Stinger, so they tried to negotiate a contract with him because how much people were talking. But nothing came from it.

I misunderstood you. I thought you meant the promos were for HHH's return. I didn't realize you were talking about Taker's opponent at WrestleMania.

Yeah, was speaking generally on the vignettes. Could have just as well been turned into Sting vs. Taker.

Just because it sounds good on paper doesn't mean it is good. I'm with king. I don't see the point to Sting vs. Taker other than to have a bunch of 90's fans mark that Sting finally was in the WWE. Then what? Sting loses because you don't end the streak to someone who has their one (and probably only) match in WWE.

The Wrestling Observer Newsletter recently reported that Bray Wyatt vs. John Cena was the current plan for the main event at WrestleMania XXX but that's not the case.

Word going around WWE is that Cena vs. Wyatt was not something discussed recently. The idea of doing that match came up over a month ago with the idea that Wyatt could win the Royal Rumble and challenge Cena for the title at WrestleMania XXX. However, this storyline was mapped out before WWE made the decision to unify the titles at TLC, before they made Randy Orton champion and before the announcement of Batista's return.

There's now a feeling within WWE that Batista will win the Rumble and challenge whoever has the title at WrestleMania XXX. This doesn't mean that we won't see Wyatt vs. Cena down the line, but most likely not at WrestleMania XXX as WWE has other plans for Cena at the big event.

I'd like to see them keep Bryan in The Wyatts till WM. I really don't want to see him beat Brock Lesnar for the title. It was horrible when they had Mysterio beat Lesnar which was a big reason why he left the WWE. If Lesnar is going to hold the title then he should hold it till WM and face Batista for it.

Though I'd have to admit I'm not a big Daniel Bryan. Hes good in the ring,and has a cheap gimmick that fans can relate to but he is awful on the mic. Let me repeat that he is AWFUL on the mic. Its bad when Orton,Kofi,heck even the Big Show make you look like ur still in grade school when it comes to mic skills.

Anyways you guys are missing that after Orton vs Cena. You gotta think there will be some type of Cena vs Bryan since Cena is the offical spokesperson for Daniel.

I just hope they have Bryan play heel for a little while, work with him on speaking and have him beat Batista instead of Lesnar for the WWE title. Now that I think about it could Batista be the devil?

I agree that Bryan isn't great on the mic. And Big Show is actually pretty decent, especially when he's a heel. But grade school? Come on now.

Also don't think his gimmick is cheap either. Christ, he's the most over guy in the company. You don't get there with a cheap gimmick. Yes, the "Yes" thing is a one word catchphrase that's easy to say, but its not cheap. Cheap is Mick Foley saying "Right here in *insert city*."
