Re: The OS WWE 'Dirt' Thread

When CM Punk first walked out on WWE and the idea of Daniel Bryan vs. Triple H at WrestleMania XXX began being discussed, people in every aspect of the company did not believe that Bryan would get pushed. Something changed over the past few weeks and that was CM Punk deciding not to come back to the company.

A number of people in WWE have gone from being silent and patient when Punk first walked out to having attitudes like, "how dare he not come back and be a part of WrestleMania."

It's insinuated within WWE that the "Yes Movement" angle with Daniel Bryan on Monday's RAW and some of the verbiage used was meant to be a "middle finger" to Punk and an underlying message that "this could have been you but now it won't be."
      Hmm, can't say I'm surprised.

The thing I sorta confused on is if the WWE has/had this notion that CM Punk needs them more than they need him, then why hold out that he would come back then or at least give the impression that they NEED him back?

That's true. They had The Rock cut a promo on Stonecold "taking his ball and going home", and I don't think they waited just in case, they went ahead and did it.

Good **** Punk. Next week they should be clearer and more direct with their middle finger.

I think Vince has a different thought process now and he's not going to risk burning that bridge if Punk ever decides to come back.

Re: The OS WWE 'Dirt' Thread

The House show in South Texas Saturday night saw The Shield defeated the
                    Wyatt Family. Great match, Seth
                    Rollins
was the standout. He was full of energy doing great high spots.
After The Shield won the match, he looked genuinely appreciative of the support
the fans gave them by interacting with them ringside and by the walkway.
Second time Ive heard this being done by the Shield. Last weekend, they came through the crowd and were high fiving a few fans....Could we be seeing a complete facation turn?
                    atleast..Its not Delaware

I'd rather see them all turn together and stay the Shield instead of them splitting up

The way it's going, they're all going to turn and Reigns is going to face Kane at WM while Rollins and Ambrose face the Wyatt's. I can see Ambrose turning on the other two at some point. He makes a much more compelling heel.

Yeah it makes more sense for ambrose to be a heel. His personality is a heel all the way

Sting did seem to be going through the motions, as if to say, "you know I
have signed with New York, but I can't say it out loud."

                            - He really enjoyed working with Hulk
                            Hogan
and named Hogan the number one draw in the history of the business.

                            - Sting rated Ric Flair, Shawn
                            Michaels
                            and Kurt
                            Angle
as the three greatest wrestlers of all time.

                            - He talked about Lex Luger, and noted vain Lex was about his physique. He
told a road story about The Steiners ribbing Lex and Sting when Ric was driving
and spinning around on ice, shouting out, "oh no, we are going to crash." Sting
said that he and Lex were totally flipping out.

                            - He talked in depth about the Ultimate
                            Warrior
, saying that no one in the gym has ever come close to training like
Jim Helwig did, and that he was a beast. He said Warrior deserved to be in the
                            WWE Hall of Fame and
no one really cares about the 2005 DVD [where WWE buried Warrior] as everyone
has moved on. Sting also noted that Warrior was a major star who had a major
rise in the business, very quickly.

                            - Someone asked him a personal question about Ric Flair and what he loves
about women. Sting joked that Flair loves women with hairy arms.

                            - Sting talked about Vader
working stiff, and Sting literally having to tame him. He was with Mick
                            Foley
when the referee brought him his ear that night in Munich.

                            - Sting did have talks with WWE about coming in in 2002. He said that he
believes in his heart that if he joined the whole Invasion angle in 2001, it
would have changed the business forever.
                            - He also said that he didn't rate himself as a top guy in terms of
performers, and that he was a second tier guy. He named Flair, Steamboat, HBK
and Angle as all being in the top tier.
I still feel Sting will show up at Mania this year after Takers match..Just that gut feeling! Or a possible move in which he comes in screws over either HHH or Daniel Bryan at WM
                            atleast..Its not Delaware

I think Sting made a huge mistake not coming in earlier.

I also think it would have been bad if he came in with the invasion angle long term, but if he came in 5-7 years before now he could have made a bigger impact.
