Re: The OS WWE 'Dirt' Thread
Not sure I would put Heyman above Heenan, but I have a hard time thinking of others I would put above Heyman at this point.
Edit: Wanted to add this is strictly as a manager, Heyman is an amazing mouth piece, as was Heenan, but Heyman's work with ECW was just incredible. I'm talking manager to manager nothing beyond that.Last edited by Amoo316; 04-09-2014, 10:17 PM.Golf: Bubba

Heyman is up there for best manager because he is far too qualified. For me he is up there with Vince in terms of wrestling acumen.Comment

Somebody said Ryback but if the guy wasn't booked so terribly he'd at least be an upper-midcarder now.

Re: The OS WWE 'Dirt' Thread
Rumor going around is that Sting has in fact signed a deal with wwe. He'll be on tv, but not right away. Not sure in what role, however. He was expecting to work with Taker, though that is obviously up in the air at this point.

Re: The OS WWE 'Dirt' Thread
I just saw earlier today that he was being promoted for some indie bookings. Weird.
Personally, I'd prefer he go do indie stuff. Kinda over the idea of him in WWE.Member: OS Uni Snob Association | Twitter: @MyNameIsJesseG | #WT4M | #WatchTheWorldBurn

Re: The OS WWE 'Dirt' Thread
- WWE officials have been talking about possibly repackaging Tyson Kidd.
- After Bo Dallas and Adam Rose come up to WWE's main roster, the next NXT stars in line to come up are Sami Zayn and NXT Tag Team Champions The Ascension.
- Late at night on April 2nd, during WrestleMania week in New Orleans, Damien Sandow was going up to homeless people and handing them all $10 bills. It wasn't something he was doing for publicity since almost nobody was around.
Good for Sandow, he really does save the unawashed masses.Comment

Re: The OS WWE 'Dirt' Thread
Sandow has always been the man.
With all these call ups, I think Ziggler and Sandow among others are toast. There is soo much talent on the roster right now, Im almost ready to fear there being too much talent haha.
However there is a need for another tag team. That division evaporated over night!Comment

Re: The OS WWE 'Dirt' Thread
Sting had already been on WWE TV. He was in the front row, 3rd row and 10th row on Raw.
I don't care about the Ascension. They don't do much for me.
If the repackage means more Kidd, I'm all for it.
Sami should have been called up before Rusev.
Good on Sandow.

Re: The OS WWE 'Dirt' Thread
Ref had no clue Taker was suppose to lose
According to a new report from the Wrestling Observer Newsletter, referee Chad Patton had no idea he would deliver the three-count that would end the Streak at WrestleMania XXX. Patton, who officiated the Undertaker vs. Brock Lesnar bout on April 6, was actually told the Undertaker would be going over and the Streak would remain in tact prior to the match beginning.
...
Even though Patton was told Undertaker would be the victor of the match, every WWE referee is told to abide by an even greater rule than the pre-planned finish. If the guy that is supposed to win doesn’t kick out of a pin, you must continue the count and award the victory to the other superstar. The slight hesitation from Patton was a result from him not wanting to be the guy that screws up and gives the Undertaker his first loss unwillingly, but once he waited long enough to give ‘Taker a chance to kick out and he did not, he made the third count.
...
The report also claims that only the Undertaker, McMahon, Lesnar, and a few others know for sure why the Streak ended at WrestleMania XXX, and why a part-timer such as Brock Lesnar was given the rub, but if you watch closely once Patton slaps the mat a third time, you can see Lesnar whisper to the Undertaker a “thank you,” proving that at least those two knew the finish prior to the end of the bout.
EDIT: Watched it again, not sure I see a hesitation in the 3rd count...or the romance novel "thank you" as the report claims.Last edited by kingkilla56; 04-10-2014, 09:27 PM.Comment

Re: The OS WWE 'Dirt' Thread
I assumed only Taker, Lesnar and Vince knew the ending with a small chance Hunter knew. I wish the WWE would have had cameras set up to see the superstars reactions because I feel it would have been the same as Mbeh.
