I think Rock-Batista or Rock-Orton is the way to go.

Brock Rock would be the biggest fail match ever at a mania. It would be Goldberg Brock all over again.

Ehh I don't know about that. Their Summerslam match was pretty solid. Obviously they're both older now, but Goldberg/Brock all over? Can't agree with that.

Nah, man. That **** was a failure of some serious proportions. Brock can go when given someone to work with and we see Rock can still go. I have no problems with the part timers feuding with part timers.

Idk the two guys were boring beyond belief in their last matches. And I dont think people would get emotionally invested enough for it to matter especially since they are part timers. It is doomed to get 100% crickets. The feud would feel detached, the match would be slow and boring. No thanks. Id take Lesnar Cesaro over it in a heartbeat and Im a Rock mark.

I'm in the 'Rock/Brock would be terrible' camp, and I'm a fan of Brock.

The Rock can still go if he has the right opponent. Brock ain't it. Brock can go with the best of em' with the right opponent. Rock ain't it. The crowd would make that match a lot better (crowd never thought Brock stood a chance v Taker, they were zoned out for the match.)

Both Rock and Cena matches were super underwhelming. Rock is better off staying out of the ring for good and just doing some promo work if he ever comes back.

To be fair, The Rock was in a match with the most predictable outcome of any Wrestlemania match in the last 5 years, and got pretty seriously injured before that. Pretty much every other match he's had since coming back has been entertaining, if not necessarily classics. Brock's last match was with a guy too concussed to put on a decent match.

I agree that they aren't the right opponents for each other. Brock works best with guys who work a quicker pace for the contrast to his style.

Rocks first match with Cena was very good. Almost all of Brock's matches have been very good. Have to look at the whole body of work not just the last match. Rock was severely injured in his last match plus the outcome was the definition of predictable. Brock was in the ring with a 50
Year old who was so concussed he could barely get up off the mat.

                        TMZ reports that The Ultimate
                        Warrior
died from a massive heart attack, according to the medical examiner
who conducted his autopsy last week.

Officials told TMZ that the cause of death was determined to be
"Atherosclerotic/Arteriosclerotic Cardiovascular Disease" or heart disease.
The medical examiner classified Warrior's death as natural, meaning neither
drugs nor alcohol were directly involved.<!--INFOLINKS_OFF-->

And its official. Damn. Hopefully a good tribute tonight

I definitely don't agree that Rock/Cena 1 was very good by any means. It was a solid match, but nothing jaw dropping or anything. I'm okay with Brock vs. Rock, but I don't really want it to close Wrestlemania 31. I'd rather have Cesaro/Lesnar which I think would be phenomenal in comparison. Like someone else stated, Brock can go in the ring but needs the right opponent to have a "great" match. Cesaro fits the bill a lot more than The Rock, and there is obviously a big storyline in the works to make that happen.

I'll definitely be interested to see if HHH/Reigns happens at Summerslam or at some point in the future. That could be pretty good watching!

Body of work, Rock has been lame since he returned to wrestling at 280 pounds. He's good for a return promo here and then but I could live on if he never wrestled again. Lesnar is hit or miss. Only awesome match he had to me was with Cena until it ended in a ridiculously unnecessary win for Cena.

Rock feuding with Lesnar will be so detached from regular programming. If its not on TV every week, no one is gonna get emotionally invested in the match. Plus there would be nothing on the line in that match. Last time these guys went at it people flipped on Rock because we knew he was gonna leave after Summerslam, what will happen when we know both guys will be off TV right after? Which is why I compared it to Lesnar Goldberg. That match got ****ted on because everyone knew the match was inherently pointless. Which is what a Rock Lesnar match in 2014/15 would be.

Plus if the match happened, how safe would Rock play it? He already tore his nuts apart reversing 5 FU's at Mania29. Working with Lesnar? And god help us if Rock goes into that match at 280 pounds. It will be horrendous.

The reason I want Cesaro Lesnar over Rock Lesnar is because I know if Cesaro is in the match I will be wow'd. My jaw will be on the ground. Do you expect to be wow'd by a Lesnar Rock match? You expect either of those guys to go beyond the call? Cesaro would completely mystify the crowd against Lesnar. It would be a sight to see. Rock is meh.

I honestly thought Lesnar/CM Punk was the match of the year in 2013. It was fantastic in my humble opinion!

Rock looked like he had dropped a few pounds when he appeared at WM 30. Still massive, but he was carrying that extra weight last year for his role in Hercules.

A Rock-Lesnar match would be fine with me at WM 31. Heyman can sell any match these days, and you know The Rock will carry his end on the mic. I think it'd be a good match.

Ideally you'd like to see Rock and Lesnar put full-time guys over, but I don't think WWE sees it that way all the time, especially at WM. They look for the biggest matches they can put together, and Rock-Lesnar, while it may not do much for guys on this board, is a match most fans would be excited to see.
