    Goodbye.

I mean, RVD going to TNA is a who gives a crap situation. Seriously, what is he going to do there? The only thing that will make me care is if they stick him in the X-Division in order to rebuild it. But even that is kinda meh.

Sandman? He was of no use to begin with. Sabu? It's a shame what happened with him. He was put in a very good position, but he f'd up. They've run their course.

The one person I feel bad for is Balls Mahoney. He was the steadiest worker on the brand at one point but just couldn't get over.

Here's something I got from PWInsider... might be true, who knows.

WWE World champion The Undertaker has suffered a torn bicep tendon and is scheduled to see a doctor (I'm guessing James Andrews, since they are in Birmingham, Alabama for TV tonight) today to have the injury examined. I was told by one person who has seen the injury that you can easily see where the torn muscle in his bicep has rolled up his arm towards his shoulder.
      Not good.

Isn't this the same injury that sidelined him for almost all of 1999 and 2000?

I read this also, I sure hope its not that bad of injury.

I agree with you about Balls, Sabu, and Sandman. RVD screwed up, and bad. He shouldn't go to TNA though. Looks like the only original sticking around will be Dreamer. He may feel like he's never gonna get another push, but I highly doubt that. With Lashley gone for awhile he may get a shot. If he signs a new deal he will be the ECW Champ within months. He just needs to look at what happened with Cage and Angle to know that he shouldn't go to TNA. If they aren't getting better ratings, then he definitely won't. If he does a WWE held me back promo I'll laugh my *** off.

Vince made the decision last week to give WWE RAW Superstar Chris Masters a renewed push. Masters was in the midst of a push last summer, before being suspended for violating the WWE Wellness Policy.

This is from the observer so it may have some truth to it. Masters has improved a lot since he came back.

While watching Edge and Orton tear it up last night, I was thinking how injury prone the top guys are.

What they should do is have Mark Henry take The Undertaker out. Then we can finally get the Batista/Henry payoff.

                    From The Observer web site:

The Undertaker met with Dr. James Andrews today regarding his torn bicep. Nothing is official yet but the word going around is that WWE will likely have to change the scheduled Undertaker vs. Batista Judgment Day main event. Undertaker was scheduled to have a long World Title reign, but at this point that is up in the air.
Mark Henry is coming back just in the nick of time...

God no not a summer of Batista v. Henry with one of them as the World Champ

Can't we just put the title on Kennedy. Or MVP. Or Benoit. Or Finlay. Or Matt Hardy. Regal? Kane? ANYONE!

Why must my favorite show always be held back by a sub-par main event scene.

I know it's been building for basically the last 1.5 years, but...I don't like Batista and while I liked Mark's last push, I still don't like him that much either. And putting them in the same ring seems like a giant fustercluck waiting to happen

I was hoping he'd return to feud with Batista as the secondary feud behind whatever Taker was doing

well Batista has been having some great matches lately... albeit with Taker.... but Henry was on fire before he got hurt... so maybe 'Tista and Henry can pull off another feud till Booker shows up again.

It would be the biggest event so far this year on PPV, although Saturday's Oscar de la Hoya vs. Floyd Mayweather Jr. fight is expected to easily beat the total.

The total domestic buys would have been approximately 768,000, so it was nowhere even close to the company record in the core North American market. Even last year, it would have ranked only No. 4 among PPV events as a whole behind one Oscar de la Hoya boxing match and two UFC events headlined by Tito Ortiz.

Last year's show did about 980,000 total buys and 636,000 in the North Ameican market.
Good news for them. More good news comes in too, as WWE posts higher quarterly earnings, shares rise

May 3 (Reuters) - World Wrestling Entertainment Inc. reported higher quarterly earnings, driven by increased revenue across all its business segments, sending shares up almost 7 percent.

The Stamford, Connecticut-based company reported first-quarter earnings of 21 cents a share, up from 13 cents a share in the year-ago quarter. Revenue rose to $107.4 million compared with $95.1 million in the same quarter last year.
