Re: The OS WWE 'Dirt' Thread

After reading what her lawyer said, I guess my question would be: Did she think she swiped the upc over the scanner and missed, or did she never take it out of her bag and tried to walk out with it. If its the first one, then the people working at wal mart that got her arrested are just idiots. If its the second, then thats harder to defend.

LOL. This is like the most minor thing compared to other out of the ring incidents with wrestlers.

Seriously, Swagger got a DUI and had a decent amount of weed on him, and he still got his push.

        He shouldn't have.

I didn't say she couldn't be brought back later like Bryan, but as I said, I have no sympathy for a thief.

They had already built his match for Mania. He got dropped down pretty much immediately after that feud.

There was going to be a triple threat ladder match still involving Swagger, I believe before Dolph got injured, then it was just Del Rio vs Swagger again. So he still had a month of being in that picture after Wrestlemania.

If WWE was truly going to write someone off for doing something they didn't approve outside of the 'wrestling world' ... they'd have no problems doing it in a heartbeat.

They wanted to wrap up that feud. But you're right, I guess. I think they punished him, just not right away

As someone who doesn't use self-checkout because I've had trouble the handful of times I have used them, I can buy this story.

Don't know if I totally believe it without knowing the circumstances (did she not ring it up, or think it did and put into her bag, etc...) but that's stuff that we wouldn't know unless we saw security footage.
I can't. I use the self-checkout quite a bit at Wal-Mart. If she attempted to scan the item and it wouldn't scan, the machine would start beeping and she couldn't continue her transaction until the person that sits at the counter came to her machine and typed in some code.

Not to mention wasn't the dirt sheet speculation he was going to win the belt? They weren't able to end his push immediately with the storyline and injuries but he lost all his momentum with it.

Yeah Wal Mart has probably the most annoying self checkout I've ever used so I have to agree, half the time when you use it properly it messes up and they have to input codes anyway.

Her best bet is just sticking to I put it in my purse to hold onto and forgot about it, even as dumb as that sounds I've seen that happen before, women and their purses anything goes in that wild west.

Maybe it was an accident and they get it cleared up. I'm leaning towards she was trying to pilfer that **** and it was her bad luck that she ran into the one person at the door who actually checks the receipts and bags.

This has kind of been my experience, but I've never done Walmart. Tried once at Home Depot, once at Lowe's, and I think twice at Jewel/Osco (large Midwest grocery chain) and it was just frustrating every time.

I've actually seen that too, but I'm pretty sure security footage would shoot down that defense really quickly.

Whatever the case, I'd rather this be her mess up than a DUI

I would have rather have had her pay the 20 bucks for the case instead of trying to slide out of the store with it

No one's perfect though brah. And without knowing the real details, I wouldn't be so quick to judge.

Could've been as simple as she forgot to scan it; it's happened to me, minus the arrest.

Even if she tried to steal it, whatever it's a stupid move and she'll get her minor punishment for it. I certainly have done stupider things and we know those in the locker room have done far worse then try to steal an iPod case

Yeah, I'm sure she "forgot" to scan it.
