      From wo:

--Torrie Wilson noted on her official web site fan page that she asked for her release from WWE
I figured as much because I'm sure she could've had a job doing promotional appearances and stuff like that. Guess she just wanted to totally disconnect from it since she couldn't wrestle.

She got hurt months ago and her back was messed up to the point where she couldn't wrestle anymore, DTX.

              Yup.

I forgot the refs -- Charles Robinson, Nick Patrick and Micky something. Might be another one, too.

It was a shame. That match was building into something special and then...snap, crack, whatever it did. HHH looked like a mix between pissed and concerned. Orton was pissed, told the crowd to "shut the **** up" and almost punched one.

Broken collarbones aren't a huge deal are they? A few weeks, maybe a month?

With wrestling? He's gone at least 8 weeks. Probably more like 12

I had a roommate who broke his in college and I think he was told 2-3 months before any 'contact'. Now he wasn't a muscled-up professional wrestler, but he also wasn't going to be abusing his body several days a week either. I think Randy will be out for most of the summer...

Breaking News: Major Name Parts Ways With WWE
                            08/03/2008 by Brian Cantor

F4WOnline.com reports that the legendary Ric Flair has parted ways with World Wrestling Entertainment.

According to the brief story, representatives of The Nature Boy contacted independent promotions with the information that Flair will be available for bookings due to a departure from WWE.

Inside details on the situation are scarce, but early reports indicate that the severance is being portrayed as amicable. Flair's WWE contract had apparently been preventing him from accepting offers of interest, so the two sides agreed to end their relationship.

I swear, it will be horrible if Flair signs with TNA.

Although, I can't help thinking of Sting/Flair matches.

Ah, to be in WCW again...

Ric Flair in TNA would be worse than Johnny Unitas on the Chargers or Joe Namath on the Rams or that 35 year old former MLB player still hanging around in the minors. It is one thing to do Indy shows but to go TNA would be just sad. First his current in ring self just doesn't fit with the overall talent in TNA right now so any matches would be a disaster.

The only way it would work is to bring him in as the Commissioner or on-screen owner and set up an angle where this living legend wants to overtake VKM for forcing him to retire.
