Doesn't help that it's the pretty much the same finisher that Ambrose uses.

Not surprised with Rose. I didn't see that character have any legs to it. I understand the concept, but that's not going to fly in 15,000-seat arenas. Good for NXT, though.

If I'm Rose I'm hoping the gimmick goes away very soon. If he's left on TV too long, it'll be hard to re-package him. But, if he disappears now, not so much.

I like that this report changes every week.
"Rose not on Raw, Dunn/McMahon don't like him"
-He appears with celebrity host Kevin Hart

"Adam Rose not wrestling on any show this week"
-He has matches on Superstars and Smackdown the next week.

"Rose has matches on Superstars and Smackdown, but not Raw. Uh-oh!"

...it's a low-card gimmick character. He's not supposed to be on every week. I like the character, but it's not going to go anywhere big. He'll show up every once in a while to pop the crowd (which works because people do seem to like chanting his theme song), and that's it. Not sure why the internet reporters can't seem to grasp this.

Yeah I had a feeling this character wasn't going to last long. It's fun and that's why I like it. But it works better with smaller crowds.

The dirtsheet sites need their internet hits.....

Anyway, I see nothing wrong with the character, it sounds like plenty of people in audience go along with him when his music hits, just when there's 15,000 people it's hard to grasp it all.

He has had limited TV time, limited mic work, and has won all of his matches. The only thing I do see as a truth between the lines, is Kevin Dunn and McMahon probably aren't huge fans (which doesn't make sense about McMahon because he loved Fandango...). Whether you want to admit it or not, Kevin Dunn's fingerprints can be seen everywhere on Raw; basically he showcases what he likes and finds funny. Remember the build up for Paige vs Alicia Fox? There wasn't really any, just Alicia Fox throwing water and throwing a fit... Dunn liked that... so instead of actually building a program for a title match, we get a few weeks of Alicia acting like a baby.... it serves 0 purpose.

PS Turn Adam Rose heel and people would instantly love him.

Forgive me if I'm wrong, but it looks almost identical to the neckbreaker Curtis Axel used :P

I'm pretty sure everyone that hates him in this character would still hate him.

                  I know I would.

I like Rose as that midcard face with the over the top gimmick, like what the Godfather was. The gimmick isn't meant for main event status and not every wrestler / gimmick is going to be and he gets with the gimmick. I think that's a major problem people don't seem to realize, that if they aren't a main event gimmick, it needs to change. Also, not everything needs to be serious, one of the reason I don't really care for ROH, as something like Chikara can produce some great wrestling with great comedic effects.

One of the best gimmicks in wrestling today is that of Jervis Cottonbelly and he's basically a jobber. It's all about if the wrestler commits himself to the gimmick and I can see Rose doing that.

He had to be in more significant matches for anyone to care. You cant have these guys just keep beating up worthless guys. It doesnt get them over. But I doubt they really wanted him to become a superstar. WWE is refusing to help their under card guys then blaming them when their talent doesnt pull off miracles and become over with a bunch of **** segments.

Im hoping this is another bull**** internet report because its just a load of BS put on the talent.

That's the one thing they are doing right with Rusev. He got fed some jobbers (like any powerhouse newcomer should) and moved onto Big E and now Swagger, who both are relevant superstars.

Part of the problem is they have debuted a lot of new people in the past few months, from Rose to Bo Dallas, Rusev, Paige, Emma. Doing this, most of them were booked to win in squash matches, which just crowds the card. I think Rose shouldn't have been brought so soon because he just got the gimmick like for a month or two before being brought up, so it didn't give him time to fully get into it in NXT until the big stage.

Since when has Swagger been relevant?

He's a jobber, just like Kofi is a jobber.

Picking up one win on RAW over a superstar doesn't make you not a jobber.

I'd say I have faith in the WWE, but they have already shown that they don't give any ****s about non-main-event storylines.
