    I'd much rather that.

As long as Rock doesn't win, since there's no need for that.

Depends on your definition. Starting probably before 24, HBK didn't do house shows or Smackdown, but he was still on Raw every week. Do Vince and Shane count? What about celebs? Andre the Giant wasn't a full time performer by Wrestlemania III. It's pretty much always been a thing.

I figured he meant guys that are gone at least 6-8 months out the year without being injured. At least that's how I look at it.

Rumors and teases of Smackdown being pushed out of its Friday spot appear to be legit now that SyFy revealed their early 2015 Friday schedule.

WWE will probably make it official within the next few weeks or whenever SyFy starts the 12 Monkeys series hype commercials.

Syfy has set a premiere date for the highly anticipated 12 Monkeys adaptation.

Nikita’s Aaron Stanford will star as a time traveler from a decimated future, who journeys back to present day in a bid to locate and eradicate the source of a deadly plague that will pretty much annihilate the human race. Amanda Schull and Kirk Acevedo will also star.

The drama, inspired by the 1995 film that starred Bruce Willis and Brad Pitt, will debut Friday, Jan. 16 at 9 p.m. ET.

WWE's Hell In a Cell pay-per-view from Dallas will be sold out by the time the show begins this Sunday.

At the December 20th WWE live event in Los Angeles from the Staples Center, WWE may be announcing a big go-home WrestleMania 31 RAW and SmackDown taping for March 23rd at the same venue.

Former WWE announcer Hugo Savinovich, who works behind the scenes for AAA, recently told KGB Wrestling that Rey Mysterio is done with WWE and will return to AAA once his WWE deal expires. WWE wants Rey back on TV but he obviously does not want to come back. WWE will be able to extend his contract like they did before.

news broke yesterday that former WWE star Jeff Jarrett was meeting with ROH
about a possible merger with GWF. Jarrett already has AAA Mexico, New Japan, and
about 14 other Wrestleing Fed's from around the globe signed up. Jarrett's first
act was to bring the huge New japan PPV Wrestling Kingdom on january 4th to
                amaerican homes via PPV.
One can only hope that atleast something like this would get going and make WWE raise the bar a tad bit with there writting. I am excited to see Shelton Benjamin and others who are apart of these Independent Fed's
                atleast..Its not Delaware

Re: The OS WWE 'Dirt' Thread

Not necesarily dirt, but Roman Reigns accidentally(read: naturally) cut the greatest heel promo ever during an interview with Sam Roberts podcast. The podcast was done prior to the rumble and his extremely negative response to winning it.

He basically ****s on fans for critiquing him. Says they dont know **** about wrestling because they arent wrestlers so they have no business criticizing him. Then says the fans have and idea of what they want and the office has an idea of what they want, and that he just hopes he becomes rich in the process. Keep in mind he spit this out BEFORE the rumble happened. So he and the office knew/know what they were getting themselves into with this one.

What I took out of it all? Reigns would be a great heel. He should probably take Rollins spot in the authority asap. he already is the embodiment of the authority's chosen one even more so than Rollins really.

Also on Austin's Usually Boring as Hell podcast, he implies that Reigns is completely full of himself and feels he is the chosen one and as such is bulletproof. Austin didn't like that and said things could change on the drop of a hate in the WWE.

Im paraphrasing most but both podcasts are easy to find. Im not even mad at Reigns, I just wish he would show this dick side on camera and stop with the budding fruity pebble track hes on now.

Oh and Reigns went on a rant about how he created the superman punch and he made the spear what it is and has created a brand. It was rough to hear lol. He legit thinks hes done something out here. More power to him. If I find the exact quotes I'll post them.

Saying he made the spear is even an insult to Edge's version.

Of course he invented that superman punch. It looks so ****ing stupid and contrived even Big Show wouldn't do it.

Also, IT'S NOT A ****ING SUPERMAN PUNCH GOD DAMMIT.

Re: The OS WWE 'Dirt' Thread

Ok I found an article that quotes all of the bullet points of the interviewI mentioned, it also has an embed of the podcast at the end of it: http://www.pwtorch.com/artman2/publi...l#.VM2OO9LF_8Q

Here are some highlights (I just realized I pretty much quoted most of the article here):

I'm all about being opinionated and speaking up for what you like, which is what we have now with social media. I don't believe in like C.M. Punk 'I'm the voice of the voiceless.' That's crap. People are talking and being heard all over the world. You put something on the Internet and people will read it - whether you're a famous celebrity or Joe Schmo. I read all these stuff, but people have to consider that I'm not writing or don't go out there and create the whole show. I'm a performer. I go out there and perform to the best of my abilities.
My goal is hopefully make everyone happy and be satisfied with the product that I've created. People don't realize is I created a product - a Superman punch - and taken a spear and made it my own. There's a lot of things that I've done that I've created, so there's a lot of opinions that I have that I'm not going to budge on
The majority of critics are people who have no clue what they're talking about, been in a wrestling ring, been a public speaker, and wouldn't even lock up with me. They would have no clue what to do. So, for them to critique or ever say anything about any performer is asinine and just blows my mind
"I'm aware of all these things. But, you have to look at it from many different perspectives. For me as a provider and as a man, I have a responsibility to provide. I can't look at it and get down on it because this is what they're thinking and what they're saying. To be honest, I really don't care. I can only do my thing and do the best that I can."

Reigns also talked about his goals in WWE. Notably, he said he's "not doing this for the fame," but he later said he's "trying to get rich," which was in the context of providing for his family.

"I'm doing this strictly from an artistic standpoint as far as performance and entertaining people and bringing them happiness and putting smiles on people's faces. It's never been about being famous or anything like that," Reigns said.

Later, Reigns said about WWE getting behind him: "It's one of those situations where obviously the company does what the company does and the fans do what they do. And that's what's so great. So, the fans have to realize as opinionated as you want it, the company is the same way. The company is going to do what they want to do, fans are going to do what they want to do, and hopefully at the end of the day I'm just the guy getting rich."
So yeah. Not mad at him for the interview. Just wish he were a heel because I think he could get nuclear heat and slowly get over with the crowd with time.

Oh he could go nuclear against the crowd if he wanted to, it would be so easy... and he should.

That whole "you're a fan, you can't criticize" line is such a bull**** copout though lmao.

Yeah, that just reeks of arrogance. If he doesn't care what the fans think then fine, but have a little tact.
