Re: The OS WWE 'Dirt' Thread
And in other bad SD news...
Jeff Hardy was interviewed on Spain's Four Network to promote the WWE shows over there in September. He confirmed that he hasn't signed a contract extension and when asked if he would, he said: "I don't know... I am 31-years-old now, and I don't like making plans for the future. I can wrestle until I am 40, but I don't want to make plans, I don't like thinking about what could happen between now and the next five years." -
Re: The OS WWE 'Dirt' Thread
Looks like Edge has a severe injury.
I got this over at wreslinginc.com
"We can now confirm that the Edge ankle injury is a torn Achilles heel tendon. This is a very serious injury that could keep him out of the ring until next year.<O</O
WWE is going to have to figure out a plan to move the Unified Tag titles off of Edge and Chris Jericho within the next few days."Last edited by funky_chicken; 07-04-2009, 06:39 PM.Comment

Re: The OS WWE 'Dirt' Thread
If it really is true... they'll have to do it where Edge doesn't even show...
A torch Achilles means he can't walk... let alone wrestle.http://flotn.blogspot.com

Re: The OS WWE 'Dirt' Thread
This really sucks about Edge. I loved his team with Jericho, I thought they were gonna be great.
Poor Smackdown. They've been so awesome, but now the guys are dropping like flies. Now I guess we may get Punk vs. Morrison at Summerslam :/Co-Commish of the OS Vets I & II

John Cena left the Over Sea's tour early this week. Reports are now saying he will be getting married Saturday. His father will conduct the Ceremony. He is marrying his high School Sweetheart.

More on Edge......
-- The jury is still out on the specific time frame needed for Edge to feel comfortable making a full-time wrestling return. Because an Achilles tendon tear is a serious injury that requires careful attention and rehabilitation, no one involved in the situation wants to make a full assessment on Edge's standing for a few weeks. A more detailed update is expected once Edge gets into the rehab process and re-visits the doctors. All that is known at press time is that he will miss at least six months and is slated to return as a face, a turning process which began via the Chris Jericho angle this week.
Not only this but they do an interview with Edge on this week's Smackdown and Jericho gets involvedLast edited by jmillhimes; 07-15-2009, 10:34 AM.atleast..Its not DelawareComment

TMZ asked Bill Goldberg if he would ever wrestle again....
TMZ: "You ever going to get back in the ring again?"
Goldberg: "Indies I would do in a heartbeat, but I wouldn't work for Vince McMahon if he was the last motherf----r on earth".atleast..Its not DelawareComment

Re: The OS WWE 'Dirt' Thread
I know it's more or less inevitable that someone turns at some point, but every heel I enjoy or start to get excited about goes face -- with mixed (or worse) results to this point. Kennedy, MVP, Morrison and now Edge... sigh. Hopefully Edge can keep some kind of, well, edge if this does happen. It seems that most faces are steered in the cookie-cutter 'Hulkster' direction of pandering to the sycophants & hypocrites of the WWE universe...Comment

Re: The OS WWE 'Dirt' Thread
Unless plans change, Jeff Hardy will be done with WWE full time in three weeks as his contract will be up then. It's still possible he will stay for SummerSlam but John Laurinaitis has booked WWE events in August without him.
Vacation...If this is falls into place, Im thinking Hardy gets his *** kicked by Punk. Smackdown after the title match, Taker pops upatleast..Its not DelawareComment

Re: The OS WWE 'Dirt' Thread
He can do some more Hardy Show for the internet with Matt who will still be out. The last few videos they've shown previews for online Jeff has been completely trashed from drinking. He can get some of this "extra circular fun" out of the way and then come back hopefully feeling better.... but he'll be back to sloppy Jeff in the ring after a few months. Considering he's so over it doesn't matter how sloppy he looks at times.BeyondMediaOnline.comComment

Re: The OS WWE 'Dirt' Thread
Numerous backstage sources confirmed that Vince McMahon was very upset with how Chris Jericho and The Big Show versus Cody Rhodes and Ted DiBiase, the opening Night of Champions match, played out. The WWE Chairman was reportedly irate as he threw a fit backstage, emphasizing his opinion that the match failed in its job of getting the crowd hot for the rest of the show.
-- According to sources close to the situation, WWE's original plan was for Dolph Ziggler to defeat Rey Mysterio in the Intercontinental Championship bout. The exact motivation for the finish change, which reportedly occurred as late as Sunday afternoon, is unclear, but initial indications are that it was not a random case of WWE creative changing its mind.atleast..Its not DelawareComment
