I don't know, maybe it's just me, but a meth head is a 3-time World Champ? Wow. The guy jumps off stuff and is HORRIBLE on the mic. But I guess all the women and 12 year old boys love him.

Yeah. Plus, looking at this week's spoilers. The Hardy's screw Punk and yes I said Hardy's. To me, Punk should be the one getting cheered. He is right by saying that he has lived the staright life outside of Pro Wrestling. Hardy has had run in's with the law, drug issues, no show at wrestling events..

            Amazing isn't it?

The drug-free, straight-edged guy gets booed...while a methhead gets adored.

              It's an easy angle.

The guy who stumbles is easier to identify with from a crowd point of view than the one preaching the perfect lifestyle. A variation you hardly see anymore is the baby with a more common physique versus the hated shredded guy with perfect abs.

Yes guys, welcome to 1996-Present... the dynamics of wrestling compeletely changed and the clean cut guys became the bad guys and the drunk, law breaking bald dude who swears a lot was cheered. Hell maybe before that... Raven vs. Sandman in 1995 began their feud which was largely based in that.

It's just kind of the way it is. Of course Punk being a cocky straight edge is going to get booed. It's great that way.

He's not getting booed because of the lack of substance abuse, it's because he's a prick about it. The whole "I'm better than you" aspect is gonna get the fans to hate you.

IMO it's a perfect role for him. He's a good wrestler, and he pulls off this attitude perfectly. I didn't care much about Punk before he did this, but now he's a bit more compelling to watch.

                    Speaking of Austin...

WWE is trying to get Stone Cold to be a Guest GM for an upcomming RAW. There has been no reply on Austin's part yet. They were debating on the Rock but figure he would decline since he is trying to further himself away from wrestling as far as possible

Didn't know that about The Rock. I wonder why he's trying to do that?

Hollywood looks at the wrestling business and anyone associated with it a joke. If the Rock was still associated with wrestling then he won't get any serious roles and would not be taken seriously as a actor IMO.

That and WWE basically ignored him when his contract was up in 2004 or 2005. Yes, he was "done" wrestling by then but was still open to signing a deal that would have him appear a few times a year and leave the door open to him wrestling a match or two against big-name opponents like HBK, Cena, Orton etc.

Only thing he's done with WWE since is the Hall of Fame last year to induct his dad and grandfather.

Austin is also looking to distance himself from WWE a bit as he wants to get bigger acting roles as well. He's in Stallone's next movie, so a good step for him.

Yeah, but did they release the rally towel as well? I thought he had some potential...
