EXCLUSIVE: CM Punk's Future as A Wrestler "Undecided"
WrestleZone has learned exclusively that while CM Punk has been scheduled for several house shows in the midwest, his future as a wrestler for WWE is still "undecided."
WrestleZone was told by a key WWE insider, "Vince (McMahon) and (Executive Producer) Kevin Dunn really like Punk on commentary, and they're considering making him a fixture of the broadcast team."
We were also told, "Vince thinks Punk has a future as a wrestler, but it looks like he thinks Punk is far too valuable as a commentator right now, and likes Punk's personality as a commentator a lot more than the Straight Edge character as a wrestler. Remember, Vince thinks Straight Edge is a holier than thou mentality, so Vince takes the heel character to heart."
"On commentary," we were told, "Vince thinks Punk has great timing and thinks on his feet much better than Matt Striker, whose stock has totally dropped in Vince's eyes."

Re: The OS WWE 'Dirt' Thread
He's a good announcer, but they are way too thin on main event talent to not bring him back as a wrestler. He is easily one of their top guys, a guy that can hold a world title for an extended period of time. No way he's more valuable as an announcer.Comment

Re: The OS WWE 'Dirt' Thread
Agreed. He should have a job for years to come once he decides to stop wrestling, but I think we'll see Punk in a WWE ring for a while.Currently Playing:

Re: The OS WWE 'Dirt' Thread
CM Punk is a good announcer, I've found the Raw announce team really lacking since JR stopped. King for awhile was the only thing making it atleast bearable to listen to
However CM Punk imo seems too valuable to just let him sit behind a desk and talk during his prime yearsSaints, LSU, Seminoles, Pelicans, Marlins, LightningComment

Re: The OS WWE 'Dirt' Thread
Hardly dirt but not really worthy of its own topic.
Congrats to Jack Swagger on getting married!
Jack Swagger got hitched over the weekend to 24 year old former WWE developmental wrestler and Maxim Model Catalina White. “Sitting in first class w/Mrs.Swagger, heading to a romantic Tables Ladders and Chairs match honeymoon,” the former World champion wrote on Twitter on Sunday.Comment

And she's done a 'movie'.
Oh what the heck, if we can have a whole thread about Batista's daughter, I can say sex tape, right? Mrs Swagger has a sex tape.Comment

Re: The OS WWE 'Dirt' Thread
I have no idea what this actually qualifies as so I'll put it here but it appears the Wasteland has laid waste to Cena...
The Main event was a steel cage match between John Cena and Wade Barrett. A back and forth match with Wade Barrett trying to get out and Cena stopping him. After about 20 minutes, Wade gets Cena in the Wasteland and puts Cena on the mat. Everything seemed to stop. The trainers came to the ring and were talking to both Wade and John. All the sudden John throws a Lebell Lock type of hold (it was not the STF) and Wade tapped out. Wade left the ring rather quickly.
The announcer came out and brought the mic to John. John said, “I got a little beat up tonight and if I need to take some time off I will but I will not be carried from the ring.” The injury appeared to be to one of his legs. He wasn’t putting any weight on it.Comment
