Re: The OS WWE Spoilers Thread
I think that the video they showed last night was of Jericho's return. I really hope that this is Y2J returning to the WWE............they really need something to garner some interest, but if the storylines are bad than it won't matter who they bring in.Comment

Re: The OS WWE Spoilers Thread
Here are some possible spoilers for tonight.................
Tonight is WWE's No Mercy PPV. With the main event participants and stipulation still up in the air and the rumored return of Chris Jericho, the rumor mill has been in overdrive this week. Here's the latest on what to expect for tonight:
- WWE held a meeting on Wednesday to discuss tonight's main event and the future of the vacated WWE Championship. While no definitive information leaked from that meeting, Randy Orton is a strong pick to walk away as Champion. There has been talk of a long feud with Triple H chasing Randy Orton for the belt.
- It's very possible that the main event will feature more than 2 wrestlers and will be a gimmick match.
- Originally, the Undertaker was scheduled to team with Kane against MVP & Matt Hardy at tonight's show. That match has been scrapped and moved to this week's SmackDown. This change could have been made to include The Undertaker in the main event.
- Chris Jericho is on his way back to WWE. The question is - WHEN? WWE has considered bringing him back tonight or holding off until Cyber Sunday.
- Batista is favored over The Great Khali in tonight's Punjabi Prison match. Batista chased the World Heavyweight Title for a long time and is his run is not scheduled to end any time soon. WWE has already announced one of the top matches for next month's Cyber Sunday PPV will be Batista vs. Khali vs. Undertaker vs. Henry.
- Unless WWE plans are building for a gimmick match at Cyber Sunday, look for Triple H to get the clean win over Umaga.
- The ECW Title match with CM Punk and Big Daddy V is expected to be a short match with Punk retaining the title. John Morrison's suspension is now up and he will resume his feud with Punk after Punk's defense tonight.
- Rey Mysterio is favored over Finlay. Beth Phoenix is in line for a Women's title run and her time may come tonight.Highheat's O's Franchise

They fail to realize the importance of dirt sheets sometimes, if something credible had leaked that Jericho was coming back, I'd have ordered. If he comes back tonight, I won' order Cyber Sunday on principle.Comment

Re: The OS WWE Spoilers Thread
Since Jericho returns around 9:30 P.M. this coming Monday thought I'd post some new info on him... sounds like he's dedicated to making it a good comeback...

- For those that have asked, the Chris Jericho WWE Magazine cover shot is legitimate. The magazine features an in depth article of Jericho putting over the idea of working with John Cena, Triple H, Shawn Michaels, Undertaker, Ken Kennedy, and even MVP. Jericho said that he went to Lance Storm’s wrestling school to brush off some ring rust and is returning to WWE with a new finishing move and will debut some new moves. Jericho also notes that there will be no more long hair either.http://flotn.blogspot.com

I've got to think his Lionsault is out as well. No need for him to pull a Hayabusa and end up paralyzed.http://flotn.blogspot.com

Re: The OS WWE Spoilers Thread
As previously posted, the winner of the Jeff Hardy vs. Triple H match at WWE's Armageddon pay-per-view will get a WWE Title shot at the Royal Rumble in January. As things are planned now, Triple H will likely win the WWE Title from Randy Orton, probably at the Royal Rumble pay-per-view. If plans stay the same, then Triple H will be going over Hardy at Armageddon this month and Orton will likely regain the WWE Title over Chris Jericho.
The current plan after that is for Triple H to wrestle Batista at WrestleMania 24 in Orlando. There is major talk within WWE of doing this match at WrestleMania instead of the previously planned Orton vs. HHH match.
It's unknown right now if Batista will be winning the Royal Rumble, but it makes sense because the winner can face any brand's Champion at WM 24. Seeing how Batista is on SmackDown and HHH on RAW right now, Batista would pretty much have to win the Rumble to face HHH at WrestleMania because of the rules of the upcoming Elimination Chamber match at No Way Out, that will only feature wrestlers from the same brand. The other brand's Champion will have six superstars from his brand face off in the Elimination Chamber match with the winner getting the other World Title shot at WrestleMania. It looks like that match will be a SmackDown brand match.
It looks like Batista will lose his title sometime soon as there's no way WWE will have a Title vs. Title unification match at WrestleMania. Edge will likely be the one to take the strap from Batista. It makes sense for The Undertaker to win the Elimination Chamber match and face Edge at WrestleMania in a huge match, with the title and the winning streak on the line.
