Except ROH doesn't have anything licensed. Just go into the joint ownership of the name like Punk did, where WWE has the rights to the name until his contract is up.

Anyone else not like Sheamus as the World Heavyweight Champion? It irks me.

I'm not sure if its because he took the strap from D Bryan or what, but I just don't enjoy it. I agree, he deserves something but I feel they basically handed him the strap. And now with all the champions being faces, I feel I am watching the same storyline with each belt.

I agree, the Mania squash debactle really degraded the title.

Until the contract is up is the key. You see, with Punk, they've made him a star. And if his contract runs up, they can no longer use his name for anything, and he can run over to TNA, and it'll be hey, "it's CM Punk." But take a guy like Kennedy/Anderson. Don't you think it would've made a bigger impact if he went over to TNA as "Mr. Kennedy?" Do you think it'd be as big of a deal when Kurt Angle or Jeff Hardy went over there, if they had wrestled under different names in WWE? Or even Brock Lesnar going to UFC. WWE made them all stars, and they were able to use that star power to help another company. But it's a lot harder to do so if you have to change your name once you're there - you're not quite as recognizable, and it doesn't help another company (namely TNA) as much as it otherwise would. Don't you think Vince would love to go back in time and own the rights to the names of Hulk Hogan, Randy Savage, and Roddy Piper before they went to WCW?

I agree with your statements, the wrestling world is ruled by the Internet community/Indie followings. WWE is doing great using non-indie wrestlers (Taker/HHH/Brock/Rock) to promote and get fans back. Take Ryder for example. He was such a hit with the internet crowd and they were basically forced to put him on the card.

Personally, I'd prefer WGTT to The Briscoes but I know it will not happen. I also want to see Motor City MachineGuns come over, and bring some life to the tag division. I see Hero being in the big time but I also see them writing him off like they did Ryder.
Wrong. The WWE is ruled by whatever makes them the most money. And the 10% of wrestling fans that account for the Internet population isn't enough to have full sway. Every once in awhile Vince will throw a bone this way(like Ryder). And once in awhile what the IWC wants and what's best of business also happen to coincide(remember for all the idiots that work at the WWE there's just as many that are just as intelligent and just as aware of the rest of the wrestling world as people on the internet are). But for the most part every decision they make more strongly reflects what their main fan base will react to...casual fans.

No doubt...though it did work for Scott Hall and Kevin Nash, it would have been better if they could have gone to WCW as Razor Ramon and Diesel for sure.

It's kind of true. Like with Ryder it was true. But they gave in with Punk as Vince specifically did not want him on TV and he was getting TV time on ECW and Smackdown, and now look where he is. And Danielson is the same, Vince, like many people I'm sure thought he was just a vanilla midget, but look how he's a heel now but completely over with the crowd. It's about 40% TV ratings, 40% live audience 20% smarks that affect the product.

You do not own, run, or rule these boards. You are on an extremely short leash as is, so I would suggest losing your attitude before you take your ball back to Twitter and not on these boards.

Get back to spoilers. If you want to discuss the upcoming FCW talent, make a thread.

are you for real? we were talking about something that stemmed out of a spoiler, it wasn't anything bad, ever, did he need to say nice spoilers?

As for back to spoilers, saw Smackdown, and it's kind of disappointing how far Natalya has fallen, not that I'm a huge divas fan, but she atleast put on good matches. Beth vs. Natalya would have been good.

Sandow's promos are funny to me, they are Sean O'Haire-esque.

I guess ADR is a part of smackdown? Wouldn't mind seeing him for the IC Title.

Unfortunately the Lesnar "contraversial promo" is the closest we'll see the next big thing being to home.

I very much like what they did with Cesaro.

                              Beth is fine.

WWE had planned for Kharma to win the Divas championship without beating Phoenix, thus the reason for Beth’s storyline ankle injury.
