Just finished watching most of Smackdown even though I was there. Thought I'd share what happened following the Khali beatdown of HHH:
As Khali was walking back up the ramp, HHH said something stupid that inexplicably got a big laugh ("giant genie" maybe, why is that so funny?) and said "Is that all you got? You want another shot at my title, let's do it right now. You can bring Onion, too." Khali started to come towards the ring, but Paul wasn't done, "And this is a Pittsburgh street fight..." Ah, yes. The notorious PSF. Wait, come to think of it, I've lived in Pittsburgh for over 10 years. I've been to bars all over the city and been in some sticky situations, all without seeing one street fight. Unless you count the time I saw a guy get kicked by a police horse during the aftermath of the Super Bowl a few years ago. Needless to say, the horse won that one...
Anyways, Khali had the better of H for several minutes including a vice-grip, I think. But Trips fought back and seemingly finally remembered that this was a PITTSBURGH STEET FIGHT!!! He got his trusty sledgehammer and bopped Khali in the chops to get the 1-2-3. Nothing spectacular, but the crowd sure liked it. I didn't know if I should laugh or cry at the fact that the little kids in front of me went absolutely nuts when he got the hammer. I mean like Christmas morning nuts... A sad commentary on the state of our youth.Comment

FWIW (which is probably nothing), local radio ads are promoting John Cena versus Chris Jericho in a street fight for the WHC for Raw in Pittsburgh on 12/15, which is the day after Armageddon. I hope it's another infamous "Pittsburgh Street Fight"... Those things are legendary... or not.Comment

A post or two before this past one was my recap of the HHH/Khali dark match after the last Pgh Smackdown taping, which was also coincidentally a street fight, so maybe I should have figured that one out. I just assumed that it was one of the "card subject to change" situations...Comment

Former Star Returing to the WWE? (spoiler?)
wouldn`t mind seeing him back in the E as long as they dont let him go to waste. Enjoyed him in TNA but don`t blame him for going back for the money.Jason Powell of Prowrestling.net is reporting that Christian is very close to signing a deal with WWE and that plans are already underway to bring him into the company to work a possible program with Jeff Hardy. The seed has been planted with Hardy being attacked prior to the Survivor Series PPV in November, and it is expected that Christian will be revealed as the culprit. Christian back in the WWE would be a really, really good thing. I think if they used the proposed angle it could be done well. Christian could come out and say he did as a favor for his brother (remember in the old storyline E&C were brothers) to get him back the gold he deserved.Comment

The Rumble is anti-climactic for him IMO.
I don't think he would have come back unless they promised a big push. I haven't watched in months so I don't know the whole deal with Hardy being attacked.NBA: New York Knicks

According to Big Dave, the plan is Christian costs Hardy the title at RR and they have a big feud that leads to 'Mania. It's obvious, sure, but most of the time obvious works.
I was really expecting him at the SD tapings on Tuesday. Something interesting is that Edge didn't appear on camera for the second show (airing 1/9). They showed him "earlier tonight" on the Titatron being interviewed by Taz. There was no sound and it cut off after a few seconds. I think he was going to hint at something since his alliance with Big Show blew up on the first show (airing this week).
Losing to Jeff Hardy in one of the top WM matches and hanging out with his "brother" is better than anything he could do in TNA, imo. More loot, too.
