According to Big Dave, the plan is Christian costs Hardy the title at RR and they have a big feud that leads to 'Mania. It's obvious, sure, but most of the time obvious works.

I was really expecting him at the SD tapings on Tuesday. Something interesting is that Edge didn't appear on camera for the second show (airing 1/9). They showed him "earlier tonight" on the Titatron being interviewed by Taz. There was no sound and it cut off after a few seconds. I think he was going to hint at something since his alliance with Big Show blew up on the first show (airing this week).

Losing to Jeff Hardy in one of the top WM matches and hanging out with his "brother" is better than anything he could do in TNA, imo. More loot, too.

EDIT: They're still pushing the attack storyline hard, so it's not like it's been forgotten.

How have they done that? I don't get whatever network SD! is on now(whats the damn deal with switching so many times anyways?).

CW got rid of it because they thought it didn't fit the demographic they wanted. Big mistake because now they're in danger of going under.

I'm trying to remember exactly how they did it...Hardys accused Edge, he denied it, they tried to get him to admit it. They went in that circle for a couple of weeks. Big Show told him to come clean, or something like that. Edge cut one hell of a promo about it for this week. It might be taking a backseat to whatever HHH is doing, but they're building to something. Not that great of a job, but they're doing something.

Right now, you're not missing all that much on SD. It's felt like the same show every week for awhile now.

Here's my whole problem with the 'attack' storyline... what did it really do? It delayed Jeff a couple of weeks from winning the title.

It really didn't do much to spice up anything and it's kind of a lame way to bring Christian back...

Christian - 'But... I attacked you! Feud with me over it!'

Jeff - 'K.'

That's why I'm hoping the attacker was Matt.

There's no money in having them feud. The fans like them too much and don't want to see them wrestle each other. They tried it a while back and it fizzled out quick.

I remembered they tried the Matt/Jeff fued in 1999 or 2000, and it just failed badly. The matches were awful.

Just like the Christian vs. Edge feud, which didn't get over either. Sometimes you just can't have former tag partners feud with each other.

An angle involving Jeff Hardy and his fiancée Beth will be inserted into this Friday's edition of SmackDown. WWE is doing an angle where Hardy and his fiancée are injured in a hit-and-run auto accident in the WWE Champion's hometown of Cameron, North Carolina. Christian Cage will likely be revealed as the perpetrator when the time comes to be. Jeff will be okay, but his fiancée will apparently be seriously injured in the storyline. The angle is a bit surprising as Hardy's fiancée has always wanted to be out of the spotlight.

Earlier today, on the WWE's Hall of Fame website, there was a graphic of Steve Austin with the tagline, "HALL YEAH HE'S IN!" This has now been removed from the website.
