I'm still impressed that I actually pulled an in-depth one of those off with The Show 14.

Very interesting to hear how they re record things and do stuff like that.

Or edit out the UK crowd chanting for CM Punk at Raw during Stephanie's segment.

              - PWInsider has confirmed the report from The Wrestling Observer this week that Ric Flair is scheduled to undergo WWE medical testing in Pittsburgh so that he can be brought back to TV as a regular character.

We noted before that Flair wanted to work with Dolph Ziggler. PWInsider notes that idea was shot down. Word going around indeed is that Flair will be put with The Miz again. Flair must pass all of WWE's necessary tests before he can be brought back.

              - WWE is said to be interested in current IWGP Jr. Champion Kota Ibushi, who is considered by some to be the best high-flyer in wrestling. Last year Ibushi became the first Japanese wrestler to sign a dual contract where he's a regular with the DDT promotion but works big shows for New Japan Pro Wrestling.

              - We noted before that there was talk that Daniel Bryan should tone down his in-ring style as his recent neck surgery could be the first of many long-term problems. One of the moves recommended for him to drop is the diving headbutt. Regarding the headbutt, Chris Benoit, who had a more serious neck surgery, was advised to give up the move but he continued to perform it and said that when he could no longer do it, that's when he would probably want to retire. WWE Hall of Famer Harley Race used a similar version of the move regularly but has recommended that people not to it because the unnatural way of landing is brutal on the neck.
Ibushi, huh. Regal and HHH want to ramp the **** out of nXt.

Re: The OS WWE Spoilers Thread

Last time the WWE brought in someone regarded as "the best high flyer in the world" it didn't work out to well for them. Or maybe it would be two times ago, cause PAC.

They just need to stop neutering styles upon arrival. It would give their product a much more organic feel and would have a variety of styles for everyone.

Bryan (and anyone else for that matter) should give up the diving headbutt so their brain doesn't become ****ed up like Benoit's did.

Yeah, Bryan needs to give up the diving headbutt and missile dropkick. He's already over and doesn't need to do either move to get the fans behind him. He just turned 33 today. The neck surgery hopefully will be successful and with a toned-down style, he'll be able to work until he decides to stop doing it.

                      Except that's *not* his style.

I don't want to watch him tone it down, it's not him then. It might as well as be replaceable part #1 doing generic CAW movesets.

If it means his career then he should tone it down.

It's 2 moves. His style would still be very similar to what it was before the surgery.

Idk why anyone does the diving headbutt in the first place, doesn't seem worth the risk at all.

Why would Punk do a Pedigree off the top rope? Why would Benoit (and countless other superstars) do diving head butts, shooting star presses, or any other high risk moves?

To get over with the fans. The more over you get, the bigger matches you get. The bigger matches you get, the more money you make. Fans always talk about the big bumps and the high risk maneuvers.

I understand that and I guess it's just different viewpoints, but I've never been like "oh damn that flying headbutt was sick!". I know they do things to protect themselves during it, etc but doesn't seem worth it for the risk of concussions/neck problems(which he now has).

I'm all for entertainment, but this guy's life and career is at stake.
