So, after reading the Smackdown Spoilers I am thinking Matt Hardy is face again?

Jeff Hardy vs Punk was the main event on smackdown with Matt Hardy as the special enforcer. Match was going good. Jeff got in Matt's face but Matt would not make eye contact. Punk hit Matt Hardy by accident. Match kept going until Jeff Went for the bomb and ran into Punk's knees. Punk on top...1, 2, ........Ref is pulled out of the ring by Matt HARDY!! Punk screams at Matt and Jeff rolls up Punk for the 3 count

So, this makes the Matt Hardy Heel- Face jump at 3 times

The best thing I can come up with is Jeff Hardy loses at SS and Matt Hardy goes on a revenge angle vendetta against CM Punk?

I don't disagree, but assuming Punk goes over Hardy at SummerSlam, there really aren't many viable faces in the hunt for the title outside of Morrison...Not that there are many viable heels either, but I think the faces are even weaker on Smackdown right now.

Yeah that somewhat makes sense following a Ziggler rematch that I assume might have Dolph going over Rey this time around -- I think Dolph is ready for that IC title run. It might be a number one contender's tourney or something after this Punk/Hardy feud because I can't really think of any one person who is next up so to speak -- Morrison seemed likely before because he beat Punk two straight weeks, but now I'm not so sure after last week's main event. Plus Rey has been putting on good match after good match and Punk and him have good chemistry in the ring.

C.M. Punk was introduced as the new World Hvt. Champion. Highlights of his SummerSlam match with Jeff hardy aired. Huge heat for Punk. Did you know Punk doesn't take anything for pain? Highlights aired of Undertaker's return at SummerSlam.

Jeff Hardy came out selling injuries to a monster pop. Punk brings up loser leaves WWE. Hardy accepted the stipulation for tonight's main event.

Smackdown general manager Teddy Long made the match official.
