And Sheamus, why not MITB? He probably won't win it, but they could always restart the HHH/Sheamus feud down the line for SS.Comment

2. I agree that Sheamus/HHH w/ Sheamus going over would have been a good route, and could still happen if HHH returns at EC. But if Vince really wants the Taker match to be a big deal, than putting HHH in w/ HBK as guest ref makes sense, and you avoid the issue of everyone knowing Taker would win, which I think would be the case if he faced Barrett.Comment

Re: The OS WWE Spoilers Thread
Maybe HBK interferes, costing Taker's opponent (whoever that may be) the match, stating, "If I couldn't end the streak, then no one should?" Maybe not the best ending from the fans' perspective, but it would explain HBK's involvement...Comment

1. No chance Barrett goes over Taker at Mania.

Re: The OS WWE Spoilers Thread
Well if HHH was to lose and his "career" was to end I wouldn't be surprised as he seems to be taking on a much bigger role lately in corporate, backstage, and he has like 3 daughters now?
Which then leads me to believe that HBK will be the guest host for WM prolly. I like this idea/match tho this WM desperately needed the wow factor imo, can't get much better available then HHH/Taker 2 of the biggest wrestlers in the WWE.Saints, LSU, Seminoles, Pelicans, Marlins, LightningComment

Re: The OS WWE Spoilers Thread
I still think The Rock will likely be Guest Host, doesn't he have a movie coming out later this year? I saw the ad during the SB. Hosting WM would likely be good promotion, and give him the chance to return on a big stage.Comment

Re: The OS WWE Spoilers Thread
Trips has taken on more responsibilities backstage and when you are doing that, it's hard to be an in-ring performer full-time. Plus, what does Triple H really have left to do in the business, in-ring wise? He's done it all, so I'd be cool if he wanted to retire and help run the company behind the scenes.Currently Playing:

Man, I really don't want Trips to retire...I hope that report is false.Comment

I'm all for it, although I wish Trips would've come back a little earlier to build this up and finish off the Sheamus feud. I know he was injured, though, so obviously can't come back until you are ready.

You've got Undertaker out with unfinished business with a couple individuals and HHH out with unfinished business with Sheamus. I just don't see how they address all that (satisfactorily at least) without it seeming forced and/or rushed. Ignoring it doesn't make sense either, if one or both of them isn't going to be wrestling anymore afterward. If I can't have closure, at least give me SOME continuity...lol. I just don't think WWE will handle the periphery well, is all. Not to mention, I don't think 2 straight years of "streak vs career" is all that compelling.
I dunno...I just don't like it for this Wrestlemania.Comment
